It’s so great so find someone else who loves this game! I don’t understand all this negativity people are having for it, especially after FALLOUT 76 and Cyberpunk. Biomutant just gives me the most wholesome vibes I’ve gotten from a video game for years, I love running around as a tiny purple fox-like critter, the tail animations are so cute and swishy! There’s a charm to the narration too, as this narrator also narrated Parable of Stanley and anyone who’s played that KNOWS this narrator is epic, he’s my favorite vocal narrator. After giving the game a week of play, my glitches and issues sorted themselves out. My only complaint is that the Batnam-nam doesnt fully fly, but I’m hoping that will be added one day, and if it never does, it won’t be a big deal for me. After 2020, I needed something to bring me back up and this game has done that In spades in just a week

Yea its not an award wining game but in todays state of open world rpg's as long as im haveing fun its good for me, yes 40$ will be more suitable but people went off and said its a scam for 60$ thats really over reacting. Until we will get elder scroll 6 or witcher 4 i would love to have more cute games like biomutant.

Same :) I did my deadeye build and it was easy as, onto melee mercenary now. 50vit/agi/luck(50 luck seems good as I've been finding about as many legendaries as I did with my 300 luck deadeye. Rest strength obv

went 50/50 agility/intelligence split on a new psi freak using dual pistols and 2 handed slash for majority of damage and psi/bio powers more for cc and healing (now i have the perk) its been a blast and a lot of fun but wont appeal to the meta guys in the slightest

I’m so glad I watched this. I didn’t realize that these “puzzle/collector” quests are NOT collector quests! Honestly had no idea that top tier loot was rewarded after completing each “find the...” line. Thank you, Khraze!

I can remember a time when i was waiting for AC1 and it was so much hype around this game. And when it came out it was OK and very repetitive. And that wasnt made by 20 ppl. But i play Biomutant and i am constantly impressed. I can see the shortcuts they took, but they also delivered a full game in spite of the Pandemic...and i know with our support they can have a better sequal recovery as big as Spiderman 2....if that makes sense.

Some takeaways from my 60h completionist playthrough: All the instrument/machine collecting rewards are useless, only the Piano may be useful as it has medium speed and two mod slots. All the legendary armor that was shown in the video can also just be bought from vendors. Just do a fast travel round from time to time and you will get them. Best gun parts are from the different ultimate guns - just dismantle them to get the best from all of them. Best scope is the Ether Lantern from a side character quest. The base part of the ultimate automatics weapon is bad, try to get a Fullpulse with Burst Module perk instead if you use automatics. Best (twohanded) melee base is the Murgel Sword (if you have no strength investment), but replace the Pri handle with a better one. Best melee attachments are the two voodoo dolls from a side character quest. Best armor mods are from the vendors that sell everything - there are armor mods that give 12% crit chance each, if you already have 100% crit chance try to get relic quality "valves" from old world storages as they give the most armor. Adding armor mods disables resists on items, so if you want 100% oxyen resist don't fill out the mod slots. As a gun based build you really need to optimize your weapon as crafting improvements slow down after level 30, but enemies keep on scaling with your character level (levelcap is 50). So while Dead-Eye is easy-mode in early- and midgame, it gets harder to keep up in endgame. Melee and psi-powers can mitigate this by investing heavily in strength and intelligence. There are enough biopoints and psi-points in the game to get all powers and 100% natural resists, but there are not enough upgrade points to get all perks and also all wung-fu moves for all weapons.

@@iknikblackstonevarrick. Do you also have all perks? Leveling up to level 50 and doing all bandit camps does not give enough upgrade points to max out both. You can only do this in newgame+ when you do the bandit camps again.

How to find best loot = invest your stat points on LUCK it gives LOOT CHANCE & CRIT CHANCE and having high loot chance means you will almost guaranteed to get higher quality gears/parts on every single chests, and crit is the best stats in game. Upgrade your LUCK until it reach 250-280 points, you should have 100% loot chance and around 80-90% crit chance with that amount.

I've finished the game and found a few legendary weapons but the ones you can craft yourself I found were better and did more damage. Think the highest one I found was 7 stars. But with all the loot I found crafted a 9 star weapon

Im upset because i found a weapon at level 23 that ive yet to replace because it desintegrates groups of enemies and even slaps most bosses single target in less than 1 minute. Ive tried many other weapons but for some reason nothing can beat a rifle with the chain shot ability. Its disgusting and i havent been able to find a replacement and im level 51 on new game+.

But this loot doesn’t seem to be scaling at all. I do find legendaries and other High end gear, but the status will be very low. As if I was still around level 10. So if I find high end gear I never really get to use it. It simply costs too much to upgrade an item to a usable level. And it doesn’t help that your materials only stack up to 99. With that you can upgrade 2-3 times then you just have to go back out to farm more materials.

I hope RU-vidrs bring attention to the magic/casting of the game. That way hopefully the devs make changes to it. It feels like it under performs. I’m always super heavy on the casting side of things in games and I’d love for them to give it a tune up. I’m still early on in the game but it seems weak.

I played a Deadeye to lvl25 on Hard before 1.4 patch. Decided to try out a pure INT magic build on extreme. From what I heard people saying I thought the enemies would be too tanky but I'm having an even easier time with magic and am now lvl28. There isn't much variety with skills though. Unlock Rad Wisps asap. Can get it with 6 BIO points just before reaching Oldtown. Then use it with Sparkball until you have enough points and 30 light aura to unlock Ki Spark. Main thing to make it fun to play is to rebind your spells to your mouse buttons. Once I got Ki Spark I just use it and Rad Wisps on left and right click. The only stat I look for on gear is Ki Energy to get as big a pool as possible. Then get crit with addons. It feels more fun to play than my Deadeye.

I have +120% loot chance, I usually get red/purple items every 5-10mins average even if chests are not red. I've already hit level 50 on first playthrough and not fully completed the game yet and still having fun. I'm hoping they increase the level cap or introduce a prestige system to give a twist.

I do the same. Money is pretty easy to come by. Only sold maybe a handful of legendaries and didn't have to sell anything for a long time. Especially since health items drop like crazy and most vendors don't actually sell that great of stuff. I'm already on my 3rd playthrough and all my weapons are incredibly op and not a single one uses anything bought. Upgrading gear gets really expensive too so I say keep doing what you're doing.

The worst item I've gotten from completing a multi part side mission is the video game one. You get a rarity 100 ultimate gun top mod called bleep-bleep. It does 0 dmg. Yes 0 dmg. WTF

I know it's old but just had to say this. Best farming method is definitely fast traveling to and from Honki, I just found a laughably strong Moor Shoulderpads. Oh you may THINK you know them, but probably not these ones. Here's what they came with... 3.5 star relic, 33 armor, 1 addon, half bar health, 2/3 bar ki, ~4/5 bar regen... but wait, 24% crit chance!! They have more regen than my Moor's that are only regen with 16% crit chance. I laughed so hard when I saw them.

Over powered seems the best. Nothing to boost firearms total damage except upgrades and that falls short of a stat. Magic is decent for refilling health but it don't get a pure boost like overpowered.

Unfortunately for me the loot wasn’t good doing the side quest was not rewarding I was wearing the same stuff throughout the whole game and I completed almost all the side quest I didn’t feel like I obtained anything from doing the side quest which was my biggest issue other then that the game was fun

Yet it's about a 15-20 hour game if you just do main story. I didn't want it to end as it was so much fun. And not overly bloated like assassins creed games. Nor was it a grind to get awesome gear. Or too hard to complete.

Sry to burst your bubble , but define end game because all the " high end " you show is still way below the legendary 2H sword at 1.3k max dmg besides deing only below level 40 , i don't think you can say end game even though i don't know whats the level cap , thank you for thoses that help .

The tutorial was really bad and doesn’t do the game justice. Especially in the graphics department. I believe it was YongYea who said Biomutant is a bit of a gem and it kinda sat in the back of my mind since then. Just got it free on PS+ and am loving it. I’m not one to try new games/franchises often. Will definitely be keeping my eyes out for a physical copy to add to my collection. Really great game.

I guess you play a high luck build as the items in the chests are basically based on the loot drop chance otherwise you would not get so much legendary loot out of it. However legendary loot might not be the best either I found a Lotus pants arround level 6 with 32 armor and 48 to 68 to all resistances and the blue jacket is also mine with min level 8 required it will grant me the missing resistance for cold as well once I wear it XD (did I mentioned that I just started the game? and found all of those up to the brick town? ^^) Luck and charisma are by far the strongest combination for loot ;)

Well I probably would get some good loot if a lot of my side missions were not bug now not only can I not defeat the captains there’s two missions like that that are bugged now the old world what missions or bug the monsters don’t Spohn in any longer I can go to the vault but no monster Spohn in for me to be able to get the key this game is something else it’s a good game but these missions that are bug is where we get a lot of good look for him and I’m not gonna be able to get it I’ve tried everything

I think Biomutant is great, but the looting is so frequent, that it becomes trivial and irritating. I think there's just a bit too much everywhere.

this is my game concept, stolen from me many moons ago. but still; awesome to see the game i came up with; get made even if im not involved. I was playing it and im like wow.. this seems too familiar.. then it all hit me. only thing they fucked up on are the puzzles. not the kind of puzzles i wanted.

Great game but I don't like how they define good and bad (especially in this woke world), good is good, bad is neutral chaotic in dnd terms, not evil or bad, but they toss in an evil trait to tow the "progressive" line. It's getting old.
