In Poland we had similar promotion but instead of cereals it was chips like Chrunchips or Monster Munch and in those bags we could find masks for first wave of Toa and Turaga
I saw that first lot and also missed it by seconds! Would not have paid any attention to the second lot if that was the listing photo though, so you were certainly rewarded for your diligence! The metal krana were only available in North American Bohrok-Kal so you might be being a bit optimistic when flipping open those lids😅
Even in the realm of the "standard" colors, the Hau Nuva and Kaukau Nuva may be the hardest to find in general. Being that at least with the other four Kanohi Nuva masks, certain colors of them also came in the first Bionicle "Parts tub" (8711) from 2004, right before they were phased out entirely.
I recall that leaflet promotion to collect masks happening in the US as well, and given we have a bit of a obesity problem here, I would not be surprised if that promotion contributed a small part to it.
The text for the copper mask reads "Legends tell of a rare copper mask, that is far stronger, but difficult to control. The copper mask is considered lost. The few that exist are hidden in the Nestle (event) boxes"
I still have 4 or 5 of copper Huna from that Nestle Promotion - It felt like they were in every second pack. I still remember I got the lime Komau twice and an orange Rau from those cornflakes packs too.
Damn, all that for $50? I'm not from the US but even I think it's a steal. Do those sellers not know how much those masks go for? Not complaining though, it worked out well for you 😁👍🏻
Hey I was wondering where do you trade your masks? because I am extremely interested in the brown miru nuva it's one if my favorite masks and I'm willing to trade for it or even pay for one
Nice fortune on those pulls. Feel a tad envious you ended up with two silver Pakari Nuvas total on this Quest, that's the one mask i'm missing my from my silver Nuva set lul.
hello, random person here. if you wish to get a mask pack with the protodermis masks then your best bet would be bricklink or other sites like it which probably exist but i personally don't know. either way to buy a single pack it'd set you back about $272 in Australian dollars.
I lucked into this one at a toy fair, so I don't know any reliable sources for more. But check places like eBay or Bricklink, they show up occassionally :)
