Bioshock was released on August 21 of 2007, meaning we are a whole year away from the 15th anniversary. That's a really tough because I don't give a shit so now it's August 21st, 2022. Or September of 2016 which is when Remastered came out - oof my head is starting to spin! Anyways:
Welcome to the Plasmid fueled leap-year from hell. You find yourself in an underwater city and everyone is using drugs to make shit float with their mind. What else is there to say? Obviously become a hacker and fight submarine men with a wrench and hurt their little girls so you can become more powerful. Thank you Ken Levine for providing a highly relatable experience that fulfills everything I've ever wanted to do. If I went another day without shooting bees out of my arms at submarine drillers I probably was going to give up on gaming altogether.

@@RoseSupreme Wow what an experience. The second one was just as great. I didn’t like the third one. I was on the last battle and I kept trying but even on easy I couldn’t get it. I watched after the battle on RU-vid. I deleted my save but I don’t regret it. I wasn’t enjoying it. I actually played the first one twice to do both endings. One I saved all the sisters and one I killed them all and each game played out depending on my choices. I felt like crap for the second ending.

I've learned over my life that the best things are often the ones you wish you could go back to and live all over again. The laughs in school, the girl I should have married, going to Rapture for the first time. Bioshock was a classic.

The first game was the best of the Trilogy and was truly stand-alone. It also had the horror element missing from 2 and Infinite. In fact, the first 15 minutes of gameplay inspired Frictional Game's ( creators of Annesia: the Dark Descent , etc.) to create SOMA, a Survival Horror game which also takes place under the sea.

Easily lmao. System Shock 2 is very good also. Almost identical games minus the big daddy gameplay aspect. But System Shock 2 has way more enemy types in general.

For a gameplay trailer vased around an established classic, this made me feel more than Infinite years later, this utterly nails the ethos behind the first two games. Genuinely brilliant work, and I'd love to see more

I have the original hardcopy and in my opinion the small pointless details they add also the added frame rate make the game look worse imo. I recorded a full playthrough on Xbox 360 on my channel you be the judge.

Very excited! Hopefully it won’t be some overly woke type of stuff and will stick to the source material. Hoping that Ken Levine is at least a creative consultant for the project.

@@StudioMod I said the EXACT same thing. Although lore wise I suppose some stuff is okay. Because the point of Rapture was for a place for people to be whoever they wanted to be free from law and god. Although that doesn’t mean I think trans characters should be popping up everywhere, or the “struggles” of modern day America making a Cameo 🙄

@@StudioMod lol honestly. Like the gay couple that you can see in Bioshock infinite Burial at sea, that was fine. It wasn’t something thrown in your face, it’s literally just there, like they are normal people within the crowds. But if they made a show on Infinite with Columbia…shit would be cancelled in a day 😂

Played the original when it first came out, it was very "buggy" then and crashed often. Sad. This does not make me hopeful that it has gotten any better. Still Steam has all the editions for black friday this year for 13 bucks. Worth giving it a try again. Thanks for the brief walk through. Definitely rekindled my love for this game...when it did work. ;)
