Today, I want to take you on a journey to the newest bird park in Singapore - Bird Paradise at Mandai.
It recently moved from Juring to Mandai, and the work they have done at the new location is stunning. Before exploring the park fully, we headed to the bird show which is really a must-see when visiting the bird park. The first show we watched was “Predator on Wings” at 10:30 am. It was really nice and showcased the incredible world of predatory birds.
After the show, we ventured into the open aviaries. The Wings of Asia aviary is designed to mimic a tropical rainforest, complete with various bird species. It truly feels like being in a bird paradise. Next, we explored the Heart of Africa aviary. The interconnected aviaries create a seamless experience, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the beauty of African birds. There are many other aviaries that we enjoyed like the Crimson Wetland and the Penguin Cove.
But also watched the second show, Wings of the World. It seemed to be a popular show, as the crowd was growing. The vibrant colors, graceful flight, and mesmerizing performances of the birds left us in awe. With both shows done, we had the freedom to roam around the bird park. We explored the other aviaries, taking in the diversity of bird species from around the world.
Our visit to Bird Paradise at Mandai was truly unforgettable. The park is massive, and you could easily spend more than half a day there. We arrived at 9 am and it was already 2 pm when we left. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and highly recommend a visit.
Ticket prices are around $48 for foreigners and slightly cheaper for locals. It’s worth every penny considering the incredible experience you’ll have.
