This park is set up by the UT forest and Wildlife Department in an area of approx six acres.
Bird Park Chandigarh can be a trip where you can sit in nature’s lap with exotic birds of various species.
There are 550 exotic birds of 48 different species available to explore in the first phase of this park.You can see African Love Birds, White Swans, Finches, Yellow Gold Pheasant, Black Swan. Apart from these, you can also have a glimpse of Green Wing Macaw, Blue Gold Macaw, African Gray Parrot, Rainbow Lorikeets and many more. Not just watching them flying, chirping but you can touch them personally.
Besides Bird Park, there are some different sections for additional enjoyment too.
Nature Trail, Nakshatra Vatika, Navgarh Vatika, Rashi Vatika are the small gardens to let sink in nature’s lap. There is a Kids Area with some swings and slides to enjoy and also a cafeteria to get yourself or your kids some refreshments on the trip.
Chandigarh Bird Park timings are between 10:00 morning to 5:00 evening, 5 days in a week i.e. it is closed on Monday and Tuesday.
Bird Park Chandigarh ticket price is
50 INR for Adults and
30 INR for children below the age of 12 years.
