For me personally, a lot of these Instagram and tick-tock influencers have really cheapened and degraded Gucci. Now, whenever I see someone wearing a piece of clothing that is completely covered in Gucci logos, I just roll my eyes because I think it looks so gauche.

Agree and you can see that with the collapse already of the less ultra brands. I've mainly got vintage and the quality...light years from the dodgy offerings with inflated prices that happen now. I like to alter bags and get full value out of them.

Over 15 years ago Cartier or Ferragamo were the must have bags, trends change. Queen Elizabeth 2 wore Ferragamo bag too not Kelly created for Grace.

Just a reminder that in the 90’s McDonald actually had different papers bag so they had style. When it comes to Hermes is only the Kelly or Birkin. Of course, they have the mini, the 20, 25, Togo leather, epsom, sellier etc,. But it is so funny how people would kill to have these bags and when they leave the store they will see someone with the same one. I love Hermes but I’m not on a Journey.

I really wanted an etaupe 25 or 30 birkin… but whenever I visit my store, several other women are carrying this exact bag. for something so hard to get (I’m having trouble getting any bag in etaupe bc “it’s so desirable and limited supply”) it sure is ubiquitous. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Birkins and Kellys are beautiful bags but this ' influencer' trend so well described by Dacob needs to end. The vulgar label flaunting is so incredibly naff as are the ' hauls.' The bags wear these people, but one should wear the bags and there's a big difference in the two.

Dacab i just bought a fake Hermes birkin on Mercari. It is real leather too. It is the perfect shade of bubblegum pink. I thought of what you said when people are ordering Hermes bags, you get whatever shade of pink they give you instead of the shade you want. What good is that. I am happy with my fake bag in my favorite color.

Dacob, love this video! I wish I caught this live! But busy for Christmas. Mac Donnell Rd is in Mid-levels, Hong Kong Island. Yes, Cantonese has local versions of the English-named roads in HK following the phonetics so yeah, do expect this with Mac Donnell Rd! Lol... my young adult daughter rejects almost all bags I give her...when I showed the McDonalds backpack, she jumped at it. The name has more meaning to them, it's their childhood!😊

If someone would see this street sign by chance and actually having McDonalds with them, then yes, I can see the humour in taking the picture.
