I was extremely impressed with the officer giving the info. I liked how publicly appreciated the fire and rescue folks and the hospitals taking care of 24+ gunshot victims.

Yes. He is top notch! He's also warm and compassionate and he doesn't make you feel like he's withholding any information. This interview should be made into a training film for other police officers.

I live about two blocks from 5 Points. Heard the shots just after I signed in for work last night (I work from home). Hearing gunshots around here isn't all that unusual so I really didn't think too much of it at the time.
