@@gunnyo50 any evidence for those claims about the effects of teaching children that gay people and same sex families and trans people (who may be in their class) exist, has a negative affect? Also what is wrong with telling them that some children that go to their school have two dads or two mums instead of a mum and a dad and that it is fine or that some people may be like a boy or girl on the outside but are actually the oppersite on the inside and that is also fine and that those who are different from you should be respected (which the bible also says)? Here's what is right about it. It helps them learn from a young age that those who are gay or trans are normal people and prevent ignorence (literally whatbschools are fore, to teach people facts and prevent misinformation to help them function in adult society), it also helps them understand that if growing up they have these feelings that they don't need to hide it and that there is nothing wrong with it (which there isn't, the science says so and if you really want to bring the bible into it, that also says so), thus preventing mental issues from being made due to stress and hiding who you really are. So yes it is right tobteach them about LGBT people?

On average children will encounter other pupils who are transger so it would make sense for schools to educate them about (would also make sense for other things as well, like disabilities and learning disabilities), so that they understand it when they encounter the situration. Same with teaching children about gay people, they would understand why someone in their school has two dads or two mums. Also teaching children that thise things are ok will be helpful to those children in the future, allowing for those who are lgbt to be who they are and know that they don't need to hide it and for other kids to understand it and not be afraid of it or view it as wrong because they have an understanding of it. I'm failing to see the problem is, other than the unfounded fear that it will either confuse them or turn them gay or trans just by learning that it exists (on that logic we better ban teaching about history incase learning about it makes some children think they are romans or nazis or greek gods). So other than those very unfounded claims based on fear and just not liking gay people, what is the problem?

@Mhamad Bouhamdan people are more likely to be openly gay in places that allow people to be openly gay and support their rights! Who would have thought! That still doesn't prove the point that the original comment was making or answers or addresses anything that I said. Also children are taught about straight relationships (both in school at society in general, like though media, religion, expectations, etc), as for normal relationships, gay, bi, pan, etc are normal relationships, so that's already covered.

Stop enforcing your beliefs onto everyone as if yours are perfect and everyone who doesn't agree with you is wrong. Kids are taught calculus in grade 12 not grade 1 and neither should they. Gl teaching your own kids calculus in grade one
