One of the ways to raise children who don't go to predators is to give them agency and to tell them they do not have to hug or kiss anyone they are uncomfortable of. I was fortunate that I was raised in that manner and I am a boomer.

I don't know what possessed me to watch this as it's not normally what I'm drawn to (violent minds and their motivations) but found it very interesting, and deeply disturbing. Am curious to hear the charts of current world leaders who are playing with fire (and lives) on the global stage.

5.20 discussing Gacy. You mentioned he had the sun and the new moon in his astrology from the get go as a child. It was probably no coincidence he was sentenced to death and therefore was executed on the solar eclipse...once again where the sun and the moon meet. So interesting. Love you guys BTW. I had a grandfather who stepped in every single day of my life after my dad left all of us. My mother waited 12 years to marry an alcoholic with two kids who all moved in with us. He never worked and she supported all 6 kids and him too. So much trauma for no reason.

It's good to know about these types...forewarned is forearmed. I loved reading Swiss Psych. Alice Miller's book, "For Your Own Good, roots of violence in childrearing practices". I married a sex abused boy man/narcissist. My energy pushed him away, but we talked so much and he offered me what I wanted...bio clock was ticking...custody battle, lying, alienation. My daughter and I are still healing. I think we are ALL learning about the damage child abuse does. Trump being the poster boy of narcissism and his psychologist niece writing a book about the family. Silver lining to that dark cloud.

I dont usually watch things about serial killers etc, but I do find it fascinating to learn about these evil people from this perspective. Lord only knows how you did what you did for all those years Allison. It would be interesting to have more videos on things like this, as well as celebs. I have Pluto in the 12th house (conjunct NN) and help people navigate and take control their deepest inner thought processes to live their lives on purpose through love. My daughter also had the same alignment and passed away because of drugs and alcohol. She had several planets and her son in Scorpio. Our charts are out blue prints for unique propensities. This was so interesting and just shows how much we need to know our whole chart, not just a sun sign. I have my sun in Pisces but with Virgo rising, and I come off very differently on the surface from who I am deep inside. I have a friend who is a triple Pisces, who nevertheless is by far the most self-disciplined person I've ever known. He is an exceptional musician, but otherwise he is nothing like you'd expect a Pisces to be, so I guess it must be the placement of his planets in the houses that explains this.

So was Gacy actually born to his life style? Is he to be pity due to forces beyond his control? How much influence did his upbringing lock him into this caged arena he was born under? If you were born the same day, year and time that Gacy was how and why would that person turn out differently or could they and are able to just hide it better? This is all completely foreign to me but brings about hundreds of question. However I do find it all quite intriguing and would love for a reading done on myself by Tom. I wonder if that would shed light on who I am or if having to become the caretaker to my 89 year old mother and now living in her home places me in the "child I can control as I did in her youth" motherly mind set and that is what changes me? Allison and Tom are both always fascinating to listen to but this episode was especially compelling because I'm currently reading Zombie by well known author Joyce Carol Oates. She creates a plausible (as plausible as possible for a non sociopath) portrait of a serial killers' mentality. The main character is abhorrent but pathetic to me because he wants a playmate/lover he can control. The need for love on demand is palpable.

I don’t understand the astrological significance of Gacy’s actions, but I believe he chose to give in to those dark desires as Tom mentioned. A lot of people are abused as children yet don’t murder. So to say a person was born evil is not an accurate statement. I can understand a penchant for that kind of control and power, just not the overwhelming consummation. Tom also says Gacy is a sociopath which devoids him of empathy or remorse. Yet he had morals albeit not the good kind. He knew what he was doing was wrong, hence the hiding of his victims. This leads back to choice. Those dark desires or childhood trauma did not make him commit murder, he made a conscious decision. Therefore this man had a soul.

Allison, I got the distinct impression with Ted Bundy that there was an element of possession. If you see this comment, I would love your take on this.

Serial killers are made not born, the same with all pathology. When exactly that begins is the question. It has nothing to do with astrology, genetics or brain function. Every human soul is pure. No one is conceived without empathy, but the damage can be done even in the womb. Due to emotional injuries in the parents and family, a vulnerable child can be open to spirit influence or spirit attachment. When the child is also abused, they become mentally ill and even more open to negative influence. What even some spirits describe as reincarnation is an overcloaking of the child in the womb by a spirit, a person who has died. Nearly every single serial killer has had some form of sexual or psychosexual abuse. There is no kind of paranormal evil in some mystical sense. It's just people with emotions and emotional injuries can deviate further and further to an extreme degree. Forget about useless things like astrology and delusions of past lives and just focus on emotional literacy, increasing sensitivity and connecting directly with God.
