Why not sharpen the blade before assembling? Seems more logical than assembling it and wrapping it up in newspaper.

Quick question, I have owned my ultratech for 2 1/2 years the knife is date 2017 is there any way to send it to the factory to get it sharpen?

It blows my mind that these guys hand sharpen the blades. How long must it take to acquire that skill?

I bought a new UTX-70 and the plain blade edge wasn't sharp at all.

It actually means “come and take THEM”

guy who sharpened my 2011 ultratech must not have wanted to be at work that day lol .. same for my 2018 LUDT.. most uneven grind i’d ever seen in my life.

purchased an ultratech from bladeHQ.com 2 days ago but cancelled my order before it even shipped does anybody know how long it takes for me to get my money back?

Thoes assemblers thumbs must kill them my fingers hurt and I have had my combat troodon for a day😂

Hopefully no one needs to warranty their knife in 12 years or so. I have a 2008 Ultratech, I called asking about paying them to replace the blade and broken main spring. They won't do it because it's too told. So apparently "lifetime" really means "until we change the geometry" or "until we decide it's too old". I distinctly buying a product with a lifetime warranty. I have other Microtechs that old and older that are still operating, so they're still within their lifetime. I've spent thousands on Microtech products and was about to spend more. However, I will NEVER purchase another one of their products again after the girl I talked to told said they can't help me.

Got 5 UT's. I usually carry cheaper knives.

Everyone that has been asked how long they have worked there has only been a year... wonder what the turnover rate is?

This company is a template for what this country needs to get back to. Stop spending your money on the asian markets.

I can’t help but notice all these people they talk to have been there less than 2 years…. Must not be a good place to work… That’s unfortunate for such a company that seems to have a big emphasis on family and teamwork.

No females in the manufacturing process? Not much there that a woman couldn't do.
