Vector Sigma was morally neutral in its programming plus Megatron simply had it make the Stunticons hate the Autobots and their belief system as well as be loyal to Decepticon beliefs about conquest and domination over other races.
Really shows you how brilliant and skilled Megatron is that he can just build a combiner team and make the trip to Cybertron to give them personalities in a little over a day.
love how frank welker does the voices of soundwave, rumble, and megatron. unless you looked it up online, youd never know they were voiced by the same person.
The whole scene of them finding cars is basically just Frank Welker telling his plan to Frank Welker so Frank Welker can do what Frank Welker wants Frank Welker to do
I'm quite impressed that Motormaster was able to smash right through a large rock without slowing down at all. He and the other Stunticons are truly dangerous.....
“I am Megatron! Declare yourselves to me!” “I am Motormaster! I swear loyalty to you!” “I am Dead End. I guess I’ll have to do what you say.” “I’m… I’m Breakdown. I’ll obey too. “I am Drag Strip! I live to obey!” “I’m Wildrider! And I wanna bust something up!” *laughs* “Well said! And you shall have your chance… *grabs the Key to Vector Sigma* …, when we return to Earth! Follow me!”
Sometimes I think it would be funny if one of stunticons was like ,,But why I have to be loyal to you? I just met you" and would be like trying to be leader by himself
Out of all of the Stunticons, Motormaster was always my favourite mainly because he was one of the few Transformers other than Megatron himself who could match up with Optimus Prime, he was the perfect counterpart to him not just in a fight but on the road as they both transformed into truck trailers plus he had a bad attitude and a big mouth as well. A true evil badass.
The Stunticons are probably the most unique group of Decepticons and are one of my most favorite groups. I love how they are cars instead of jets, and the fact that they can combine makes them my first to second favorite Decepticon group
Anyone notice how Wildrider was the only stunticon to not swear loyalty? All he said was "I'm Wildrider, and I wanna bust something up" dude were you listening to the others? Everybody but him swore loyalty to Megs
I loved this so much when this episode aired on tv in the 80s. I remember coming home from school and just floored to the max watching this. To this day, I love the Stunticons the most.
it's a little more complicated than that I'm pretty sure Optimus Prime would cease to exist as well if the stunticons no longer exist then that means the Autobots never create the aerialbots in retaliation which means they never go back in time to the events of the episode War dawn and Orion Pax never gets reformatted into Optimus Prime but instead just lays there on that cold metal floor of that ransacked energon Warehouse.
I like how for the Aerialbots, the Auto Bots go through a ton of trouble to remodel Cybertronian shuttles and doubt it will work... Megatron just steals cars, seemingly at random, and then modifies the shit out of them. I love the Aerialbots, but damn, the Stunticons construction really showcases Megatron's intellect.
“If it weren’t for those accursed Autobots, that super fuel would be mine now!” “What are you gonna do? They practically rule the road.” “That’s something I’m going to have to change.” “Attention! We are deviating off course from headquarters!” “We’re going to get some wheels!”
I just bought the Combiner Wars version of Drag Strip yesterday; he's awesome. So excited for the other Stunticons, as they are my favorite Decepticon combiner group.
Sean C And of course, the Aerialbots were my favorite Autobot combiner, with them being Autobots who could turn into airplanes. Yeah there were already Autobot planes like Skyfire (who vanished after "Day of the Machines" in Season 2) and Powerglide, but it was refreshing to see more Autobot aircraft, just like it was refreshing to see Decepticons that could transform into cars and go up against Optimus Prime and the Autobots on the road. I'll say this though, the Combiner Wars version of Menasor looks alright. Not as good looking as Superion, but still the individual Stunticons look awesome. And Drag Strip is no exception.
None...SunCo/Marvel Standards & Practices did a CGI job with stunt doubles & mannequins....Plus, his agent said killi g flesh creatures wasn't in his current contract!
3 died and the cops were injured. Anyway the stuntron lambo is too much similar to red alert! Anyway I LOOOOOOOVE STUNTICONS! they could recycle Mirage, Red Alert, Lambor and Sunstreaker, and some other Autobot classic warrior to create a new combiner to counter Stuntrons!
that s actually a shame that in one of the best g1 game transformers Devastation includes both constructicons and stunticons, but constructicons are fully introduced and are highly individual bosses with own voice lines abilities and story, so the stunticons are actually forsaken and forgotten, meaning only Motormaster introduced. the rest of stunticons appears to be mindless, playing only as decoration and of course Menasors pieces. they just appear as cars, without own will, nevef transforming into anything different than cars and Menasors limbs. they appear to be just lefted as dumb decoration :(((
Krwawy Morgan perhaps it was due to lack of time and data. I would’ve loved to have seen all the Stunticons in Devastation get the same presentation that Motormaster and the Constructicons did also, but the end result was still so impressive.
By far the biggest screw up of Megatron was his inability to see the potential in the darker parts of humanity and his equal inability to see the potential in the Mind Transferral device wheeljack created to put Spike's mind into Autobot X.
It was cool how the stunticons were introduced as a new team, kind like an upgrade version of the constructions. They seemed like a important threat from the last season 2 episodes. Then the movie came and oddly there were never seen but the old constrocticons. After that season 3 showed them on very few episodes focusing on Cyclonus , scourge and sweeps
Rumble: Do you just have this stuff laying around? Megatron: Yes! Of course I do! Rumble: So you can just....make robots? Megatron: Of course! Soundwave just stands there. I love 80's cartoons so much.
Might be a bad idea to put Breakdown and Red Alert in the same room together. Both are notoriously paranoid and there is no telling how they will react when the paranoia kicks in.
Ok, so for Megatron to create personalities for the Stunticons, he had to use Vector Sigma, but when Starscream created the Combatacons, he stole their personalities from a Cybertron prison depot??? Ohh K
That's because the Combaticons were pre-existing Decepticons that already existed, their personalities were simply stored in the prison depot, Starscream just needed to give them new bodies to occupy. In contrast, Megatron wanted to give the Stunticons fresh new souls/personalities so he needed Vector Sigma.
