Khari Roberts There is no way that was a simple jump. There would have been no reason to make thruster noises or move the way he did. Superman moved in similar fashion, sans thruster noises.

George Pierson maybe those thrusters were giving him a boost allowing him to jump so high, and maybe the thruster runs out after a short time so he can't necessarily use them to fly.

Then that means in the original timeline (where the 5 Areobots come from), Orion Pax is possibly dead and did not become Optimus Prime in that present? They went back in time, saved Orion and that's how Orion Pax was able to become Optimus Prime?

The time travel plot accidentally created a Grandfather time paradox plot hole for G1. In case you don't know what a Granfather time paradox is, it essentially means that the person who went back in time to change history, is actually the one responsible for creating the current history that said person wanted to change/avoid. This effectively destroys history in it itself by creating a severe time paradox where the future exists because an event from the future will come back to the past to ensure that the present becomes what it is.

Transformers are not "Robots" in the traditional sense. They don't have ididic memories or onboard memory banks. They're "Brains", "Personalities" and "Memories are based on that of an organic being where memories fade over time. It might also be the case that after 9 millions years of existence that those memories faded away like they do with most humans or there was something Alpha Trion did to Prime later on to make him forget he was his creator for some reason. Like when Rachet in Transformers: Animated erased Arcee's memories to prevent the activation codes to Omega Supreme from falling into Deception hands.

Just proves like an organic they can forget things happening and like a computer remove data from it. I think if you and I lived 9 millions years we'd forget a few things along the way.

Pass me the salt Please Because the Autobots were and are civil service robots. They were not made for war. The Quinteszons built Gladiator robots like "Sentinel Prime" for entertainment purposes. The most powerful gladiators had statues made after them as seen at "Starscream's coronation" in Transformers the Animated movie. I believe Sentinel Prime taught Optimus how to fight the war and lead the Autobots better.

Well I think it’s more of realization breeds good but I agree good is born from evil and evil is born from good. To me seeing that Orion Pax was naive much like the aerial bots where of the decepticons it was through that realization that Orion and the other aerial bots realized who the decepticons truly are.

The Matrix concept was probably not thought of until the movie which came out later. Just like Optimus didn't know who his creator was in a previous episode.

Geddo the matrix of leadership is much older than the live action movie, and as far as I know of the numerous versions of primes origin this is the only one that dose not feature it. ( I may have missed another one but it would still be in the majority ) It even is featured during the promotion of Rodamus Prime.

I love how in-detail it is, like how Megatron started out as a "drone", designation D-16, the he became a gladiator and named himself Megatronus after Megatronus one of the original Primes. He and Orion become friends, but then Megatronus demands the title of Prime to the council, but Orion stands against him and is given Prime hood. Megatronus becomes bitter and creates an army of those who stand against the council, and shortened his name to Megatron. Thus the begin of the war. I love how close they were, but... Megatron's ambitions drove him down a dark path... I can see why he started the war, because one of his best friends went against him.

Orion Pax- the initials are OP. Optimus Prime- the initials are OP. This pretty much presents "Prime" as being part of his name. Later, with the introduction of Rodimus Prime, "Prime" appears to be a title, not part of their names. The Transformers Generation One cartoon is full of contradictions.

To me Orion was always Optimus Prime. I mean just Optimus he adopted a name that he thought seemed more humbling to him. Orion Pax it wasn’t until he received the Matrix that he understood to that he needs to accept his destiny to be his true self Optimus Prime. I get there’s millions of interpretations but this one to me I like the best.
