Exploring Biscayne National Park: Scuba Diving: We’re traveling to Biscayne National Park in South Florida to fish and refine our scuba diving skills. Biscayne National Park sits about 40 miles south of Miami and protects part of the world’s longest coral reef tract. With the help of the National Park Service (NPS), Jack and Colton go underwater to help eradicate an invasive species to South Florida - the lionfish. Lionfish near Mangrove Forest are affecting the local & global ecosystem. To learn more, watch this full episode of Rock the Park, and hear from National Park Service (NPS) rangers explaining why they need help hunting down lionfish #savethereefs.
