Its from Belgium and the Netherlands i grew up with this flavour of cookies (different brands) so its weird for me to see how many countries have it now and are shocked by the flavour! Its awesome tho 🤤
@@MoroccanQueen364 yep, well I'm glad the rest of the world is finding out how yummy it is. Just like their all discovering Stroopwafels and Poffertjes. Their reactions to it is almost always very positive. 😀👍
😍😍 Here we call it lotus cheesecake. The red lotus spread is smooth the yellow one is crunchy. You can make it at home: 10 lotus biscuits, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of oil, and a quarter cup of milk. Mix it all at the blender. Hope this helps.
Yessss. I discovered Biscoff cookie butter a few years ago and admittedly, I have eaten it straight out of the jar. I'll definitely have to make this because I know how good it's going to be!
Laura, I just purchased and received your cookbooks. Love them! I especially loved your dedication and acknowledgements... so touching, I had tears. Love you so much.
Made this for dessert last night at Sunday Family dinner. What a hit! I didn’t have 12 hours to put it in the fridge for 12 hours so I popped in in the freezer for the last few… wonderful!
The other day i was craving something sweet and i only had this spread and cornflakes in the cabinet. So i melted the spread and added the cornflakes when it was melted and made little cornflakes rocks! It was the besttttttttttttttttttttt! I put the recipe on instagram

Omg this looks delicious! I love Biscoff cookies, I'm from Belgium and they come from here so I've been eating them for a very long time. I'm definitely going to make this. Thank you Laura!
I’m French so I’ve been enjoying this “speculoos” butter for a little while but making a cheesecake of it is such a good idea!! Gonna try it asap!!!!! 💗thx Laura always that good
Mnomnomnomnom I love Lotus cookies, it's from our southern neighbors in Belgium. They sure nailed it when it comes to the cookies and the speculoospaste. It tastes a lot like our national cookie, speculaas. That cheesecake looked delicious. Very rich but delicious. I love watching your videos, it kinda feels like I'm with family, whom I can't see because of the coronavirus and the lockdown. So your video's give me the homy family feeling. Thank you so much for making me feel less lonely. 😊❤️😊❤️😊❤️😊❤️
Lovely Biscoff Cheesecake! Love your recipes, your recipes always accurate and delicious! Easily able to recreate and enjoy it. Thank you for sharing your wonderful recipe as always! 👌😍😊
I like that most times it's about feeding the family, nuts and bolts. But when you get revved about something I dig in. I saw Biscoff at Kroger but put it off as designer peanut butter. I am shopping tomorrow and will buy this. You have something God given about food and feeding people that is priceless. Thank you.
This cheesecake is phenomenal right now. I haven't try yet. It's really hard to find the biscuit & spread in my area. I need to buy it online first & surely will make it. Tqvm for the recipe ❤️❤️❤️
Omg!!! My FAVORITE! I eat the cream as a snack with PRETZEL 🥨 Rods right into the jar and out..double triple dip and everything because it’s mine! 😅 😋 so good! T 🌿
It’s so popular here in Dubai lol. Everything is made with it. The craze started 2 years ago and now it’s in every milkshake, cheesecakes, cakes and all desserts in general.
I made this today and wow is it rich and sweet. It only takes a small sliver for 250 calories. It is so good though. My family really liked it so much.
I loveeeee biscoff cookies and the spread! I just recently found a less sugary alternative that is amazing too! It’s a peanut butter spread that is salted caramel flavored by the brand Nuts N More. The delicious similarity is outstanding! Just thought I’d share! Love your videos❤️
Oh my goodness I usually use the biscoff cookie butter to make cheesecake and it’s sooooo thick and smooth and indulgent...and delicious...🤤 ANYWHO I highly recommend this
What are you doing to me Laura?!?! I just opened youtube and the first thing I see is Biscoff Cheesecake...you are speaking my love language...I don't think there is anything better then this combination. God Bless you and your brilliant mind and hands. I'm going to be dreaming for days of this until I make it.
So glad you found out about this, I love biscoff! I also recently had that spread and i mixed it in with ice cream. It was delicious of course. I don't live in the us though. I will probably be making this
I love cookie butter. When ever I have it on hand and I need a snack, I cut apples and loosen the cookie butter a bit in the microwave an dip the apple slices in the butter 😋😋
I love you videos Laura you are amazing you bring happiness to my day whilst in lockdown in the UK during this weird times I have anxiety and I find baking helps me relax x thank you for the videos x
Lotus is the best brand for speculoos cookies. That comes from Belgium, where I live. Laura here they do Tiramisu with speculoos, you should try this. Thanks for your wonderful videos.
Crazy to think that Americans are now discovering that cookie spread, because I’m from Belgium and the idea for it came from an ordinary woman that participated in a show kind of like shark tank and then Lotus bought the recipe from her! In Belgium we call it “speculoos” or some “speculoos”. We have a smooth and a crunchy version of the spread, the crunchy version is to die for!
This looks so good! 😯 I tried some of that cookie butter once before and I wasn't too into it; I was just using it in sammies and on a spoon though. Thinking about it with berries and with cheesecake makes me excited for the next time I get it. 😁 Your plating was gorgeous! I always think the thumbnails look very impressive. 😊 Thank you! 💜💚
Its funny how in australia we haven't had cookie butter and now we have biscoff from this year so i guess we got the best one!! I love the cookie butter more than the cookies themselves i probably will make this
I tried it but I added 4 oz more cream cheese and only half of the biscoff spread and it was fantastic. It's still very sweet without adding more sugar but I like it a bit more cream cheesey.
Hi Laura, Love watching your video, talking about hand held whisk, I still have mine from when i got married 37 years old and still going strong. take care by from Australia. 👍😀👌
