I found Laura in the Kitchen while I was in the hospital fighting leukemia and preparing for a bone marrow transplant during the better part of 2019. Because of the chemo I had around an 18 month period with no ability to taste anything or when I did it was off or tasted metallic. Of course I have many many angels to thank for getting me through my ordeal- my wife and family for one, my awesome transplant team, and believe it or not awesome RU-vid Chanel’s like this one. For a fair length of time it was my only window to the outside world ( with zero immune system I was social distancing long before covid 19 hit). To this day when I decide to make something for my family I always check to see if Laura has a video on it first. God bless you Laura and your family and thank you for getting me through a very tough time. I made this bread the other day and it turned out so good I am making it again today for my family’s New Year’s Day dinner! Happy New Year!
Shut it down.. Shut down the Apple factory 🤣 I have been watching Laura since years and she's still the same. While cooking she is calm and composed with instructions.. But as soon as she puts that morsel of food she prepared in the mouth at the end of the video.. She gets crazy because of how delicious the food is xd you go Laura
I made this today and it’s wonderful! I added pecans to the top and loved it. The bread/cake part was unbelievably soft. And my kitchen smelled like heaven. Thanks so much Laura.
Hi Laura n thank you so much. I ve been making this cake n make a business of it. I sell it together with other cakes. My customer says it's delicious. Thanks again. I wish you healthy and happiness..
As soon as you post the recipe online I am making it!! Still wish you would provide instructions on here as well since there’s a lag between the video and the recipe being posted.
Made this today. Delicious!!! Put all ingredients (except for the apples and cinnamon) in my stand mixer, mixed for 3 minutes, and layered the batter and apple mixture as in the recipe. Easy and perfect.
I just made this and it's awesome!! I use equal sugar packets but I think my next one will be with real sugar and yes my house smelled so good when it was baking' Thank you Laura it was very easy to make. 😊
Happy Saturday Laura! Your bread had come out looking absolutely amazing! It probably tasted really good too! Thanks for the upload and enjoy the rest of your weekend my lovely friend.
Been following Laura since I started baking and her recipes never fail. NEVER! I was a little skeptical tbh abt this recipe, but I’m glad I tried it. It’s divine!!! Made it twice already. It’s not too sweet which I loved the most abt it.
Hello my friend , a nice and tasty recipe again on your channel . Great great result my friend Thanks a lot for this beautiful Apple Crisp Bread recipe and greetings from FRANCE ! 🍭🍊😍🍄💖💖💖🍚🍄💖🍚
I made a selection of Laura's recipes I want to make, during my summer vacation... the list doesn't end! This one I swear 😍 I'm thinking of replacing the classic Panettone I usually buy for Christmas morning and bake this instead ❤ wonderful Laura! Many Thank yous from Portugal 🙋♀️
I used whole wheat all-purpose flour so maybe that’s why mine wasn’t too yellow. I used a hand held mixer at first, but I decided to use my spoon to mix the rest! I loved how golden it got!! Whenever I bake, some parts always look underbaked, idk how to fix this! It tasted good so I’m not complaining 🥰😊😍
Silicone loaf pan would be perfect for this. Nothing sticks, and it browns and carmelizes wonderfully. I definitely will try this recipe, but I will use real maple syrup instead. Thanks, Laura! Love your videos!
last year you posted an apple pie bread recipe which became my favorite cake ever! but this one looks even easier since you don't have to grease your hands with butter from the topping! love it!!!
I love your recipes I’ve literally grown up watching you! Today I made your chocolate ganache tart and it’s in the fridge cooling very exited to try it! You are like my Chef Mama! Love you loads💞
Another GREAT recipe! By the way, thank you for making new recipes instead of ones that you have recreated before. This is one of the reasons why I follow you. You are always up to new things! Thanks a lot, Laura ❤️
Looks amazing! Im going to make this today! I had planned to make a regular apple crisp until i came across your bread and you tube channel! That vanilla cake your speaking of sounds Delicious too cant wait for that! Thanks for sharing 🍁🎃
I have made this cake twice already. It was devastatingly delicious 🤤 The second time, I substituted coconut oil because I was out of butter, and I used coconut milk (the creamy kind in a can) instead of whole milk. Also, I used pumpkin spice (mixed spice in UK) instead of just cinnamon, and I added the contents of 1 teabag of apple spice tea to the batter. I’m definitely making this cake one of my specialty recipes!
hi laura Been watching you since I was a student until now its been 8 years already i remember when i used your recipe of a pizza dough for my final exam thanks for easy technique and recipes absolutely a big inspiration and now I'm also a Chef now .,
Omg girl😲 I tried this last night n it was a hit!!! I used green apples( had to use up..lol) so perfect🥰br suger n cinnamon mellowed out the tart with just a tiny of tart, inside was light n fluffy, not too sweet! Baked for hr n 15 min, halfway cover with foil n it was perfect! Definitely a keeper🥰🥰love your videos ❤️ty so much girl!
Well, I got up this morning here in New Zealand and I said: let's bake something. :) All I had is 2 apples and basic baking stuff... I started watching videos and luckily I found your recipe. :D It is so amazing Laura, everyone loved it!
You're my go to channel for recipes. I always know your recipes will be perfect. I made your chicken piccata yesterday for the 3rd time. It was perfect...better than a restaurant. I used an onion because I forgot to get a shallot and added sauted mushrooms because I love mushrooms. Soooooo good. Thank you!
I made this bread/cake tonight and it was VERY delish! The cake part was moist and the apples were done perfectly. The sticky top was perfect. It was quite easy and was a big hit for dessert. Thanks, Laura. I'll be making this all during the winter!
I'm trying this with pears! Why? My pear tree is OUT of control this year! Already made an apple crumb pie! Thanks Laura! Love your channel! You're an amazing cook!
Turned out delicious, thank you Laura , ever since I found you 8 years ago I've made so many of your recipes and everyone around me thinks I'm a good chef 😂🤣 which ain't true.
for anyone struggling.....1 USA Cup equals 220 grams according to goggle.....i popped blue berries and brambles in with mine along with 4 eating apples.....added a little butter to the flour and brown sugar topping at the end and mixed it well to create a small layer of crumble on top....then put a little drizzle on that....came out nice.
Laura: You know what?Shut it down.....shut down the apple factory. Me: runs to factory to get all the apples for my baking.😊😊😊 Lovely one Laura.Baking this next🤗
Ur recipe is great the cake is wonderful!! I did another recipe of banana bread and the topping was similar except for the topping, she used flour cinnamon and brown sugar too, she also used a half a c of old fashioned oatmeal and cold butter and I used my hands w a glove to combine all those ingredients and spread it over the top and omg was the best crumble topping I’ve ever used, just an FYI if your interested. Loved your cake, god bless
Excellent !!! made today & TXS for heads up about batter being thick & checking oven halfway through baking to lower temp from 350 to 325 Because my oven does run hot.
Made it for visiting my MIL & FIL (mother-in-law+father-in-law) today with the sugar drizzle it was soooo delicious. Perfect after bringing out my grandmother's boorenkool traditional Dutch dish for them to try :) ♥ House smelled amazing!
I just made this. I was looking for a Apple loaf recipe and came across this video. I can tell you it is absolutely delicious. My kitchen smelled wonderful. Will definitely be making this one again.
I made it and it’s come out super delicious. Love love love this recipe 😋 And to all those who would think of skipping the flour on top? Don’t do that, make it to the T and you will love it. Thanks Laura......and How do I send you pic of it. I tagged u on Instagram, hope you see it. And thank you so much once again😘
This looks soooo goood. I have a pretty good base for an almond flour banana bread loaf. I’d loveeee to try to adapt it to an apple cake version like this one. Mmmmmm!!!
Wow, your eyes are so amazing!! Not trying to hit on you (need to explain myself, lol) but those eyes! And will definitely try this for Christmas this year!
I made this today. No way is this quick bread; it’s a cake in a loaf pan and SO good. I had caramel topping and poured that on top of the warm loaf. Oh my!
Looks yummy. I am going to try this with walnuts too in the batter. My hubby loves apple fritters but I don't want to rise dough. He'll probably love this.
Perfect timing for the drizzle. 20 seconds from pouring the milk. Lol I am so making this tomorrow! I just got through making your mini Apple pies in the muffin pan! 🍎 🍏 🍞
It’s in the oven right now smells like apple pie 😋 can’t wait to try it! I’ve made so many of your recipes over the course of 10 years I know this is going to be good!!
