Preach on Bishop Wooden. Let the truth come to light and wickedness go down to the pits of hell. I totally agree with what Bishop is saying 100%. Lets open our eyes and see what's happening. 🙏🙏🙏. Amen.
Well idk about all that though. He is the same man that told black people that Donald Trump is the best president concerning black and brown people. He also wrote a long op-ed in a news paper, saying the exact same thing.
Bishop Wooden, The Greatest Bishop In America! let the Truth be known. And I'm In Dallas Tx. where there's a Bishop on every corner; with all due respect.
Amen For a bishop that tell the truth and don't apologize and stands up for God and His principles✝️We stand with are Bishop ✝️ may they come to the light of understanding 🪔Amen
I like Bishop. Many people (OF COURSE) dislike the “race hustlers” comment. He 100% correct however. I will answer the “what’s wrong with us” question. It’s a bit complex but the bottom line is, SO MANY black people have been overly exposed to, influenced by and live with liberal tenets. The groupthink, victim mentality has done so much damage. Prayers for this young man’s family. I pray that he knew Christ.
To take this tragedy and turn it into a liberal rant is so pathetically ridiculous. Mr. Wooden said AND I AGREE that if that young man was white those “black” police officers would not have beaten him like that even if he had shot at them. That’s powerful!! No they would not have beat him like that. Why? These officers subjected themselves to that white supremacy mentality that is so prevalent in America and especially in policing in America 🇺🇸. There will be NO CONSEQUENCES ACCOUNTABILITY OR REPERCUSSIONS for their actions against black folks. I know Mr wooden loves ❤Donald tRUMP but at least he acknowledged that fact. That so many black republicans would pretend that race wouldn’t have mattered. So I commend him for his honesty.
This man of God always stands on biblical truths. He doesn’t preach what makes us feel good, he steadily preaches how we should live right. Reminds me of my Pastor (Bishop Jones in Louisville, Ky) when he said, “ They (politician) ain’t in my pocket!” because therein lies the problem with some our black churches. See, when you allow the politicians and the government entities to give funds to your churches or invest in your communities then they want to dictate what you can and cannot say or do. If I’m lying just watch (listen) to see if your pastor speaks the same facts that Bishop Wooden has pointed out! 😮. I promise you they won’t. If your pastor hasn’t addressed any of the current issues and complacency that we’re experiencing in society today you might want to question their calling. Pastoring is not calling for the meek. Often you have to go to depths whereas the membership may dwindle because they don’t like what thus saith the Lord….but so be it! Creating friendship among the congregates is a wonderful thing to behold but ultimately Bishop Woden’s main goal is to save souls!🥰. Just pay attention to the hidden agendas that they’re trying to push….how can five black men who killed another black man be racially motivated?🤨 Folks better wake up to what’s playing out right before our eyes!!🫣🤔
If these men were not possessed by demons, I’d very much so be in shock if they themselves willingly did this to the poor guy. Wicked wicked wicked to the core.
G. Hector I agree but there are many more people who just like them possessed by demons and do wicked evil things!!!! They and all others who do evil wicked things will give an account to God!
@CoolDude Hi, it was unnatural to do violence unnecessarily, and the extent of this could only be under demonic influence. Demons have been known to physically attack a human. They have even raped women in their beds asleep. Recall the account in book of Acts where 5 brothers were trying to cast out Demons, but had no authority in Christ. All were beaten by the man possessed ripping even their clothing from them. We, the body of Christ, need to be equipped to know what this denomic realm is capable of. I thank this pastor for speaking openly and wisely with all godly integrity. He speaks Truth, but does not ridicule mean spirited.
I agree Bishop Patrick Wooden. It was disgraceful, disheartening, and certainly evil. If given any opportunity, I would have run away too and never stopped. Prayer and JESUS need to be brought back into our everyday lives. Lord have mercy on us ALL✝️
Bishop Wooden is speaking the truth. We need to pray. We need help from God. We need help. I love Tyre. This must not happen again. God Bless Rev. Wooden. We need and have to pray.
For lack of better words, this is the most refreshing take on this I have seen. And it is not surprising because the Bishop is coming from a biblical based perspective. Amen! We need to pray!
I believe 2 things in this monologue: 1. the race component is this rare footage of black on black crime by “black policemen,” 2. Defunding doesn’t mean “remove” but “divert” to other areas of the community that contribute to crime. Policing plays one small part in dealing with crime, there’s a much bigger picture or more variables that requires more resources than policing.
He let me know what he really thinks when he cited his agreement with Trump and the MAGA Republicans. They have taken the term defunding the police and made it something completely opposite from what it actually means. Any Dummy knows people don't want less police officers What we want is Policing done right.
I have lived and worked my entire life in Memphis. This was a domestic matter between Tyree, his girlfriend and her ex-husband... who is / was a cop. This had NOTHING to do with race. Memphis is literally Hell on earth. There is absolutely NO safe place. Everyone of every race is fleeing this God forsaken place if they can. Those who can't, hunker down every night and pray to safely make it through the night. Keep preaching the TRUE word of GOD. You are reaching far more people that you realize. Thank you!!!!
I live in Memphis. I find your take most fascinating and accurate. I take a lot of calls for this organization for my job and there are so many recruits right of of school and college cause it pays for their loans. Those of us who are local have heard that the young man who died was dating one of the officers baby momma!!! I felt the evil spirit attached to that attack and group and it was full of anger that even I felt just watching it. God bless y’all saints.
We need to pray for our Nation and our boys and Men. Psalms 91. Parents pray for your children and Grandchildren before they leave home. Cover them in the blood of Jesus Christ. In Jesus Christ name.
Thank God for Bishop Wooden for always telling the truth. I heard so many speak against all policing whom we need to protect citizens from criminals. Lord help us!!!
My husband graduated from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis & lived in a not so safe area but also wasn’t in the absolute worst areas either. I had no idea the danger in that city. God protected me. I couldn’t believe that woman was out running at 3-5am in the morning in that horrible place. Poor woman. It’s worse when ppl in badges of justice are being unjust.
The panel discussion needs to be with people who hold community and who have a stake in our communities who look like us. Prayer works. Bishop thank you for addressing this issue without compromise. What now ?
As a retired officer who happens to be black, I couldn't agree more with the Bishops comments. The bad officers make the job harder for the good officers. You don't defund police, training officers isn't free, fire and or prosecute those that disgrace the badge.
I wish Bishop Wooden would do a panel discussion with other Bishops and Elders who are genuinely concerned about the state/condition of our people. What has happen and is happening with our black brothers ?????
That turned into the typical black on black crime where you see blacks brutally beat and kill each other everyday. You see a lot of videos with black guys kicking another black man in the head even after the guy has been knocked unconscious or 5 or more of them jumping one guy or even sucker punching him .
Exactly! I keep telling folks that, it be your own people! Here in both Northern and Southern California both of the fatal shootings were committed by Asian men. Killing their "own." Yet after the first shooting people wanted to jump in and say "stop asian hate!" They didn't even know who had committed the crime. Shed light on ALL crimes, because all crimes involve hearts lacking the Love of God.
😡When America refuse to retain GOD in her knowledge, lawlessness of every stripe abounds ‼️ In other words, all "Hell" breaks loose. 👹" For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers and rulers of darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness in high places. " Ephesians 6:12
Alway remember just because we have the same skin color but not the same spirit in Christ Jesus we are not the same…. Hallelujah thank you Jesus for the truth…
Policing in the United States begin in 1844, and the first black police was in 1867 in Selma, Alabama. Out of the history of the policing in the United States there has not been "one" case of police beating a "white" man to death. And what is even more remarkable is that fact that they thought they was going to get away with this crime even with the cameras rolling!
This man of God needs to teach the Churches Many people can't see what He sees . We as believers can't see what political party openly goes against God's commandments This Bishop is a blessing.
But the “average thug murderer” doesn’t have a police-issued badge, police training, police-issued weapons, police issued vehicle and cohorts in police-issued uniforms.
Regardless of the known or unknown intent, it does not deny the fact that these officers’ behavior was heartless, and that they are products of a wicked culture where black babies are aborted at an astronomical rate, where black dads abandon their children, and where black people are more at risk of dying at the hands of someone else who is black than white. Overall, we as black people have turned our backs against the LORD and against one another. Although we may be on the church roll, and “sang” in the choir, we do not value life and most certainly do not value a biblical perspective such as this.
@@top489 I was told that too, but I also heard that white cop that was fired telling the guy to kick him in the face. So, I think he should be charged as well.
As someone who use to a quarter of a mile away for where is happened for 20 years, let me say a few things about this area and city. Having been a resident of Memphis and the surrounding area for almost 33 years I can say that Memphis is a terrible city to live in. It has been bad for a long time, but it’s become worse since the pandemic. It use to be areas of Memphis that were bad, but mostly it was alright to very nice. The area where the Nichols tragedy happened was called Hickory Hill for years. Now it’s called Hickory Hood as a nickname. The area was nice until the year 2000 when the city of Memphis annexed it and put 80 percent of the residents from the numerous city housing projects in the area. I was living in that area. Immediately gang graffiti and trash discarded began to litter the area and businesses started to close. KFC chicken boxes left in parking lots, Colt 45 bottles. I saw a woman in a Acura pull into a Family Dollar store and threw a kinds of trash out her window into the parking lot just before she pulled up into a parking spot almost right in front of the store which had a large garbage can in front of it. On my street I saw all kinds of bad things happening. My street was all white people except four of us families. When I left there were one old white widow woman and one other couple who had Shelby county sheriff connections. If I was cutting my grass and I saw someone walking up the street I made sure I made my way back up to my front door and was facing them or was inside the house if I didn’t know him. In this same area that this Nichols tragedy happened a man was shot and killed cutting his grass a few years ago. I could go on and on. There is no excuse for what they did to Mr. Nichols and the paramedics were horrible too, but the area is bad. With churches all around. You look at the signs of weekly service. You see everything, but prayer service. And that’s all over the city. Not many prayer warriors left. Gone of the days when the great Bishop C H Mason and his praying saints held darkness in check with their fervent and effective prayer lives and holy living. I’ve seen or heard of them dying off one by one for years. In this city whenever people are gathering for work, church or eating or entertainment, there is a great chance of your car being broken into. Memphis had 675 car thief the first 17 days of 2023. These young black persons are reaping havoc all over the city and now moving into the surrounding cities. A brand new shopping development being build just coming into Memphis from I40 East is already being being robbed by blacks. They are catching them on camera. The saint roll in for the Convacation and the devil is bound somewhat, but when they leave the devil cuts loose again. Preachers too busy completing with each other to come together and pray. Opps 😮 They captured 8 car-jackers the week the 675 car thief were reported and they let them go 2 days later, three were 13 years old. People are sick and tired of these young people snatching old ladies purses and robbing left and right. The COGIC organization has enough members to turn the tide in this city if the leaders really decided to. They have all it takes except the desire to do it. I wonder how many pastors actually join in leading the people of God in prayer in this city. It’s critical. God help us.
Very impactful points, how don't know how many pastors or people in general have spoken out against this horrific murder etc but this very powerful in what has been said. The killing of black men and women have occurred long before Tyre Nichols, George Floyd and so many others, l too am for policing but police cannot be above the law, we cannot have criminals on the police force period, l don't wish anything bad on anyone, but these FORMER police officers can no longer be part of society.
PREACHER OR PASTOR You can defund them without DIS-MANNING THEM -educated yourself - read the PROPOSED BILL - There are several amendments to the force including a community board - social service involvement
So many real points on this the fact is clear. First on my end I appreciate the only display of speaking up on this manner , I personally , understand that this not a race issue although it is. Crime is crime it has no color , gender , or status other that that. Yes , alot of good ones are gone so no what you got is a bunch of wild pigs running rapid . sometimes we forget the grace and mercy bestowed upon us and the favor of God . To say pigs I'm not referring to individuals I'm speaking of a spirit . Where are the leaders in the region. This is why we need to understand that we need to speak up, stand , up show up. Let our voice be heard , let our stance be rooted, let our presence be known. I look at how much damage and I understand that through God's Word I'd the other hope. So some speaks of a church that has or is evolving. if so be the chance this would be evident in the generation that are going to reflect , response and reverence . This is just evidence that now is an excellent understand God delivering power doesn't mean that there won't be trouble because there will be there's just no peace without the Peacemaker.
What's wrong with us just what the Bible says, "If my people who are called by His Name, would turn from their wicked ways, humble themselves, seek Gods face and pray, then will, God hear from Heaven forgive their Sins, and heal our land" 2 Chronicles 7:14
Bishop, that WAS the WS aspect of this whole thing. You can beat the hell out of your own, but don't touch ours! No, they would NOT have done this to a white guy! 💯🎯‼️
