Michael Bisping on the greatest night of his UFC Hall of Fame career - when he defeated Anderson Silva at UFC London 2016!
Round by round, punch by punch - it is all here. Why did Bisping trash talk Silva? Why did he shove Silva at the end of round one? How badly was he hurt by that flying knee. Did the fans save the fight for Bisping? What does Mike say to those with insist he lost this one? It is all here, raw and unguarded.
Bisping "couldn't win the big one", they said. Anderson Silva was too skilled, too powerful, too fast, too GREAT for Bisping.

My team had to convince me to do this video... even then I kept putting it off. Bit weird, bigging myself up to a camera😆. BUT - I did it and hope you enjoy. Let me know if you'd like to see more videos when I look back to the biggest fights of my career? If so, which fights? (And don't all of you say "Matt Hamill"!!!!!)

Anderson Silva was definitely one of the best but by then time Bisping fought him, he was a can and a shell of his former self. Bisping is the weakest middle weight champion that ever existed and immediately got challenged by GSP out of retirement and got rekt. Sorry but he got lucky, was there at the right time when the division was weak and slipped in to get the belt, hats off to him he deserves it but he is no where near the best of the best in any division. Sometimes a gate keeper makes it to the top.

@@Monkehrawrrr By your same logic neither was Bisping, unless because it had been 2-3 years of not having a functioning eye made him more talented. On top of the fact of needing to name technical legends who can easily be debated as the greatest of all time. Only a fraction of fighters end up fighting for a belt, that’s kinda the point. If someone is fighting and doing well among the best, does that not put them in the same category? Anyways, Bisping did incredible things, was a part of many guys legacies, furthered the sport and was the first in the UFC to do what he did. Sure, others might’ve been able to, but none have. Eye injuries being one of the most dangerous to have, as unable to defend oneself as effectively)

I think my experience of him earlier in his career was that I didn't like or dislike him, but after seeing how tenacious he was - especially when I first found out he was still fighting with one eye - I couldn't help but respect him. The title win solidified it all for me, not because of the actual title, but because he always backed himself to get there one day. This is kinda random, but I had this though before that a good sci fi movie based on Space Marines, with Randy Couture, Quentin Jackson, and Bisping as a few of the stars, would be great. Since, they basically look like Space Marines. They would all be great in a Gears of War movie too. Pretty much the same idea.

End of round 3, if Silva had have even bothered to try and jump on Bisping after the flying knee, maybe 'erb Dean would have had to pull him off and the fight would have ended, but Silva is so cocky he thought celebrating would make them call it a KO. Throughout Anderson Silvas career he was his own worst enemy, the Damian Mia fight where he just stood back and did nothing upset all the fans, upset Dana White, especially since it was the first UFC card ever in Dubai, and Dana's superstar made him look bad Infront of all of those Arab billionaires. Then Silva tried to clown Wiedman, a guy who turned out to be a really great fighter, but no greater than fighters Silva had destroyed already, the difference was Silva played games and Wiedman just fought a proper fight. Silva's downfall was the combination of age and his own obnoxious attitude, but mostly his attitude. Bisping was never cocky in the cage, he was cocky as hell outside of it though, and that's why his legacy will be loved for a long time yet, as will Anderson's. But their stories are so different. MMA is the greatest sport!!!

That's how you have to be to be the best fighter you can be. But, my god what a story he has.
