what he is saying is he doesn't know how to get his money into bitcoin compliantly, hence once this bitcoinETF is built he will be able to get in compliantly. When this ETF opens it will open the floodgates of institutional investments and will drive the whole crypto market up. my bet is to buy something undervalued taht is building a usuable product like ALQO, they super under valued and building an exchnage called bitfineon.
Who in the world is talking Ethereum over Bitcoin, what in the world!? Actually a lot of people are saying the opposite with so many platforms launching mainnet which means they no longer run on ETH blockchain
Big A that's kind of the wrong argument. Why debate which is better between Bitcoin and ethereum when you can buy both. They each have a very good use case. There are 1600 alt coins and maybe a few of them have any promise. If you're going to talk about anything it should be why people aren't buying just Bitcoin and ethereum and they are putting gobs of money into all of these scam projects
Kyle Van I totally agree and hold both as well as mostly top 10 coins, I was just commenting Kevin’s comment about btc may be in trouble since he hears many are talking about ETH, which at least in the crypto community isn’t happening, it was super polar as must own coming into 2018, but then after the security question came up, a lot of interest and price dropped from the January period.

I wish people stopped saying that Bitcoin needs the "smart money" or the "institutional money." How smart are they if they can't figure out how to buy BTC themselves? Let them wait for Government regulators and clarity a little longer. They are missing the point. Bitcoin was never meant to be managed by institutions--it is managed by YOU.
Agree...he’s a billionaire so he’s not long on bitcoin, but he has plenty unbeknownst to anyone as an unseizable store of value. Just like Robert Kiyosaki states he has only has 6 bitcoin (on the record that is).
The Ethereum network has serious problems. It gets congested all of the time. BTC is not perfect, but it is the pioneer and the alt coins will always be attached to it. I feel that Eth will eventually get knocked off of it's spot by Cardano. Cardano's leader Charles is a genius and he co-founded Ethereum. He left Ethereum early after a big disagreement between him and Vitalik Buterin. Don't get me wrong, Eth will rise still but it has some large problems to solve. Don't count out coins on their tails like Cardano and Stellar Lumens.
Technology continues to develop around blockchain, because it's a useful technology, and many of you are underestimating the practical applications of it.
I love how all these "Experts" only mention BTC and ETH. This market is Filled with great projects, solid teams and real innovation. My fiat dollars can't get enough. I'll check back in two years when the vast majority of the show is discussing only crypto with a little chit chat about the stock market sprinkled in.

amazon will partner with LTC reason i say this is how all amazon alexas are programmed. EXAMPLE/PROOF - ask an alexa WHO WILL WIN THE SUPERBOWL and alexas says I want the SEATTLE Seahawks to win the SuperBowl....why? its programmed to respond with this answer. Amazon is from Seattle and Jeff Bezos is a Seahawks fan. Now ask an alexa WHAT IS THE BEST CRYPTOCURRENCY TO BUY and alexa will respond in 2 different ways - 9 out of 10 times alexa will respond with I LIKE LITECOIN and roughly 1 out of 10 times alexa will say I LIKE BITCOIN.....why? its programmed to give these responses.....why would amazon refer ltc and btc? thats the real question. Ask about stocks and it recommends AMAZON stock. So Amazon has programmed their devices to direct people to their stocks, likes its hometown football team, and directs people to ltc mostly and btc some. Amazon has some stake in ltc and btc. I believe they are working out some kinks, and will then partner. otherwise, amazon alexas wouldnt direct ppl to these 2 cryptos and would saty neutral or create their own coin and then direct traffic. Dont believe me.....get ahold of an amazon alexa and try for yourself....ALEXA....WHAT IS THE BEST CRYPTOCURRENCY TO BUY? itll only direct you to ltc or btc, and most times its ltc. theres a reason for this. i believe in ltc more than anything just because of this response from amazon. and if you google it, nothing shows up. but get an alexa and try for yourself.....this is the best tip anybody has ever thrown you in crypto
Enabling a bitcoin ETF will cause 2 main events to happen: 1. Brokers and institutions will be able to fleece even more commission from naive retail investors and gullible pension fund managers. There will be no flood of 'big' money coming in - otherwise the price would already be increasing in anticipation of that. It's simply a story to get ordinary people pumped up to buy bitcoin before it gets shorted again and this brings me onto my second point. 2. It will provide a huge opportunity to short bitcoin. Don't think an ETF is just a one way story. A bitcoin ETF gives bears a simple and very effective method of betting against the hype that is bitcoin. This is a very important fact that people seem to miss.

BTC is the reason you get in to ETH. the best thing about this is O'whatever is bearish on BTC and right after this the market went on a parabolic run up form $6500 to $7400 almost 1k in one day! When the BTC/ETF is approved, we are going to see a move much like the move gold made, when the gold backed ETF was approved in roughly 2003, price shot up over 300% With the amount of liquidity, open markets internationally, money on the sidelines waiting on this ETF, the ease of access to this space, BTC will skyrocket to over 50K. this move will depend on when the ETF is approved 2018 or 2019. but if it gets shut down the entire crypto market will take a nice hit.
