Correction- Ghost bond is not only sold to professionals, but it is very expensive and must be obtained from a legitimate source. There are a lot of counterfeits on the market which has led to many issues with discoloration of the skin and damage to the hair follicles. The ghost bond site showcased in the video is the real brand. They have different products that cater to different adhesive needs. Please everyone contact them in order to receive safe adhesives, do not put you hair and health at risk by purchasing counterfeits.

I disagree with just following someone else's FULL Routine. If your hair is High Porosity but mine is Low Porosity and protein is an important part of your routine, I could damage my hair trying to follow you. There are 'Chemists', 'Cosmetology Teachers' and 'Licensed Beauticians' available to us on Social Media. We have INTERNET ACCESS. Try to understand HAIR, especially within your own racial group so that you are 'following' the RIGHT routines. Then find the 'Influencer(s) whose hair is most like your own and if you have the funds, try their routines.

I’m a black woman and it took me years to grow my natural hair long. My hair is mid back length but it shrinks right above my shoulders. I had relaxed hair most of my life until I did the big chop. My hair use to be shoulder length, thin, and damaged. I didn’t want long hair until I did the big chop and was SHAMED for having short hair. It was mostly black people who shamed me and they assumed I couldn’t grow my hair when I chose to cut my hair. Anytime I got into an argument with a black person, they were quick to call me bald headed and one black man even compared me to Side Show Bob. After that, I did my research and spent years learning what products and routine works for my hair. Now my hair is long and I do like having long hair but to be honest I grew my hair long because I was bullied when I had short hair and I felt insecure and ashamed about it.

@Princess, this is truly horrible! I was moved by your story. I'm sorry this happened to you. This upsets me because it was highly unnecessary and a very troubling experience. Lots of women can relate to your story about how you faced bullying and hair trauma. Despite how one hair looks like, it shouldn't add or subtract from her value and her beauty; all are to be treated with due respect. Thank you for commenting and for sharing your story!

Why is this even a topic? I swear it seems that everything we do is wrong, criticized and looked at under a microscope. I mean EVERYTHING. From the men we choose to date, to to way we raise our children, from us not being desired by our own men, to us being too ghetto because we have box braids or hooped earrings, to having natural hair on the job, to the way we may speak...we're too ghetto, we have an attitude problem, we wear too many wigs, we are bald, we don't have edges, we talk too loud, we are too aggressive, we're on welfare the most, we have an attitude problem, our skin is too light, dark skinned girls are too violent, we wear lashes too much, we aren't natural enough, we are too fat, we are too skinny, we broke, we think we're all that because we make a lot of money. We are the most copied, yet most disrespected women on the earth. And the irony of it all is, we are the prototype, the original mothers of the earth. We carry the Eve Gene, which means our hair texture is the most dominant texture of all races, the first hair texture to be created by God, meaning Eve's hair was kinky. We gave life to every human being on the earth and our melanin is coveted. It is worth $400 + per gram. That's right, these YT folks sell melanin. That tells you all we need to know right there. Never celebrated but are a precious commodity. Grow your hair. Grow it to the floor and flick it in their faces. We are diamonds in a rough. Take care of your crowns and never drop it.

YOU stated THE WORD LIKE A GENUIS! 👸🏾 IT IS ALL TRUE FACTS! I was born with the gene to have long 4c hair. And I’ve received lots of comments about the thickness and healthy look of my hair. “I TAKE CARE OF MY OWN HAIR!” However, I get unsolicited advice on how to wear my hair from other African American women. It’s suggested that I wear braids since it is of African culture.🙍🏾‍♀️😃 I truly enjoy seeing braids on other women but NOT FOR ME! But the judgements and harsh criticism of black women is ludicrous! I SAY TO ALL BLACK WOMEN, WE ARE THE STANDARD OF BEAUTY ON THIS PLANET AND OTHER RACES REALLY KNOW THIS! How can they NOT KNOW this FACT! ROCK OUR HAIR ANY WAY THAT WE SEE FIT TO BECAUSE OUR MELANIN SKIN AND ENERGY WITHIN RADIATES OUR UNMATCHED BEAUTY! BLACK WOMEN ROCK!!!!!!❤️🙍🏾‍♀️❤️👸🏾❤️🫶🏾❤️🙇🏾‍♀️❤🧓🏾❤️💆🏾❤️

I’m a black woman, I loved showing people how long my hair was, my hair represents the beauty in me. I love how my hair used to feel in the summer time and blow in the wind. It felt good for my Afro hair to be free like me and not be relaxed, braided etc. I love my hair long or short it doesn’t matter what length it is it’s beautiful the way it is. My hair has always been super thick and full. People have told me in the past that because of my hair’s texture, I should have no problem retaining length. But it wasn’t true. I couldn’t get my hair past armpit length. I went on a hair journey in 2016 and now I’m at hip length. I am offended at this “obsession” nonsense when it comes to Black women who focus on length retention. As long as she or he isn’t neglecting their kids for the sake of their hair, so what? No one makes those remarks about non-Black women.
@DynamicTouch
@DynamicTouch Год назад
Thanks for sharing your journey. I feel like length retention is a skill that many people have trouble navigating. I find myself focusing on length retention more and more every day. Hopefully one day this can be seen as common haircare and not an obsession. Thanks for watching and stopping by.
@daughterofthelordgodalmighty
This was a great & informative video! I can relate to being shamed for my hair and that being the reason why I’ve become “obsessed” with having long hair. I big chopped/buzzed right before I went to college and wore a wig(type 3) until I was comfortable with my hair length. I went to a PWI and somehow became the target of bulling. Everyday girls would literally follow me around(not exaggerating) to swing their hair in my face. After I left I became determined to grow my natural hair long which is one of the reasons I became a straight natural so my scalp oils could coat my strands & keep my hair moisturized. I love my new regimen but struggle with the idea of straightening my hair when I’ve had people with straight hair shame me for my natural texture(4c)

I praise the Lord Jesus that we are talking about a real subject ! The world is acting as if we black women are confident while some of us aren’t
@DynamicTouch
@DynamicTouch Год назад
Confidence is definitely something that has to be worked on continuously and consciously (everyone talks about confidence, but hardly anyone talks about how to be confident or how to maintain confidence, which is sad). It doesn't come easy to most people and sometimes situations/events in your life can have an effect on confidence as well. Black women are human, and I feel like sometimes mainstream media tries to create this image as if we are not. For me, prayer and biblical references help me to stay in a confident state mentally. Praying about confidence and talking to God truly works wonders. Thank you for commenting and stopping by! We appreciate it very much!

people love long hair period. I have long 4c dense hair and whenever i wear it out it draws a lot of attention from men and women of all races. Long hair is a woman's glory and is seem as feminine. Biologically long hair signals to men that a woman was healthy long enough to grow long hair. Which is why its also a sign of fertility. People need to leave black women alone. So what we want long hair. So does every other women

Capitalism is funny because it tricks people into placing blame everywhere else. Long hair is synonymous with femininity for many cultures for starters. And we should probably address the fact that black women’s bodies have always been policed thanks to EVERYONE’S obsession with European beauty standards as a means of acceptance. The irony being that standards are invented and the very idea that black women can’t grow long hair is a collaborative fabrication brought to you by movies and marketing. That being said, the only people I know that are preoccupied with black women’s hair are black women, who I’m sure will have something to say when I find these scissors. 😂

You bring up a very valid point on this topic. Growing up I watched many diverse forms of media so I could see how a person could be affected if they only watched content that pushed European beauty standards. I hope you enjoy your new haircut! Thanks for commenting!

It's called flipped Psychology. The so called Black woman is so diverse and is more soughted and fetishised much more than one can imagine. One European woman stated that 'White people's hair is boring.' It is becoming more apparent in the snake media that many women desire to have features that are actually associated with various women of Afro descent. The Satanic media is fake Eurocentric and is extremely envious of women with Afro features to the point they are trying to destroy these women in many shapes and forms using false advertising, one weapon of destruction in regards to Afro hair was the chemical relaxer-the magic potion which actually potentially damages the hair. A dangerous weapon indeed! May ABBA Father through Yahusha Hamashiac destroy this evil! May ABBA Father through Yahusha Hamashiac bless more and more women with Afro hair with healthy and long hair. May the Eurocentric lies and envy be totally decimated!

I'm trying to understand what you're talking about here. I'm pretty old so I remember a time before weaves and braid extensions. I also struggled with my hair as a young girl and that was due to it being straightening comb all the time. I found out if I left my hair alone it will get thick, it would grow but never passed my shoulder, It's a blend of 4B 4C, high porosity and use to stay so dry when I was young. And they have you doing that Greasing your scalp stuff. I always had dandruff for 39 years. Then I got fed up. I locked my hair at 39, I kept the locks in for 20 years, they grew pass my butt. But by the time I was 59 , I don't know I just felt so locked up I felt I needed some freedom. I think there's was lot of bad energy in them. Anyway I started growing my hair again. Because this time I want long hair that's loose, even though I'm old lol But what I have noticed all my life, is that anyone with 1a to 3c hair type generally has no problem growing their hair long if they've kept it natural. Even 4a hair types seem to have no problem growing long hair. So when I'm watching hair videos on RU-vid, I always look way back in the video to see where this woman started. If I go 7, 8 or 10 years back in her video and I see that she always had long hair, the first thing I noticed is that her hair is not 4b or 4c and that she generally could always grow long hair if she wanted. She just on RU-vid taking advantage of that fact.. I also noticed low porosity hair types even in the four type categories seem to grow longer and easier. But the 4b, 4C, high porosity, when I find those hair types on RU-vid, and when I go back years in their videos I see them having the same problem as me and how they solved it, with moisture, conditioner, oil and protective styling and no wigs, weaves, or braid extensions. Because 4b 4c hair it don't like that fake stuff. So when I see somebody with 1a to 3c long hair, I'm not impressed. The only reason their hair is growing long is because of their hair type bottom line. But when I see a 4B a 4C woman who has grown her hair long, I am very impressed with her, because she has solved the problem. and if she has her own hair products I will order them. Because I know that her hair is like mine and so it's her example that I want to follow if I'm going to follow an example.

I do think a lot of black women are obsessed with having long hair. I don’t see a problem with wanting long hair but my comment is about people who think long hair is superior to short hair and who thinks someone’s self worth is related to hair length. I have had short and long and I’m fine with either. my hair is currently middle of my back and shrinks to shoulder length. I prefer looking sl. I don’t want my hair longer than this because it’s thick and becomes a lot to deal with. I have women in my family current and past generations who had waist length so I don’t believe a person has to be rich or wear wigs. I also have relatives who have had long hair but prefer short hair so they get it cut often into a pixie or tapered cut. (How about we talk about how some people assume if a black person’s hair is short that they can’t grow their hair long but other races are assumed short by choice. ) I think the reason these companies and gurus are able to sell so many snake oils is because of obsession. And when I tell bw that I cut my relaxed hair off a few months after my last touch up I have had some say “omg I can’t believe you cut your hair off. I. would never.” And when bw post videos of getting their long hair cut short there are ALWAYS complaints in the comments even though it’s not even their hair. To me, it’s not that big of a deal and my obsession comment comes from the projection I have received and witnessed by bw who want long hair so badly and can’t accept thete are bw who don’t or don’t care. Questions like “How long have you been growing your hair out?” when I’m not growing my hair out but they assume I am. As someone who grew up in multi cultural communities I have heard other women express wanting long hair but they speak more often of thicker. I have never had anyone say anything negative about my hair length when it was short. In fact some of non black girls at my schools kept their hair short as in shoulder length or less. too Halle Berry had short hair the majority of her career and is considered one of the most beautiful women in the world. I personally think hair of any length can be beautiful or look awful, unhealthy but some people think just because hair is long that it looks good even when it’s raggedy.
