I had the pleasure of watching Probert in every home game he played. He was a force on the ice. He was the best at fighting and he could score and pass the puck too.
Never was a big Ti Domi fan, and I bet most in Detroit probably share the same sentiment. But Domi seems like a good guy after all. I love seeing the 2nd fight where Yzerman is on the bench after Probert beat Domi pretty bad and Yzerman makes the WWF championship belt sign like Domi did in the first fight. That was classic. Most of the goons knew you might get Probert once in a game, but rarely twice. And then showboating after a fight is definitely a no no. Arguably the GOAT and we were so lucky in Detroit to have him. Still a fan favorite.
Bob Probert was not only a great fighter but he was the best hockey player in the NHL. And that is coming from someone who lives in Boston and has been a longtime Bruins fan. He was the greatest of them all, Paneeks/Boston
Awesome and I live in Detroit probably was the champ probably was my hero and when your boy number eight Cam Neely retired in Boston my son was born that day and I named him cam
The first pick for my superman team . He was a better hockey player than he was given credit for and I love that he had ZERO tolerance for disrespecting him .
Probert was pissed Round 2 because Domi humiliated him in Round 1 by making him bleed like a pig. The "legend" Probert got his ass handed to him by a guy who's 5'8 LOL. Domi was one tough SOB and a legend in his own right.
Can you actually realize in reality that Domi/Falcone and Tucker/Unknown Islander Fans were taken exactly 1 year apart. Both from April 2001 and April 2002??
