I hurt someone’s feelings today and thought they were being unreasonably sensitive but the truth is I’m guilty of self exaltation. That spirit of narcissism is insidious...thanks for helping me see this...so freeing when you can repent and union with Him is sweet again!

Thank you for this - bitterness has been showing up in my life and not just against people who have wronged me, - but me being jealous because they are so good and giving and loving and I am not- because I have been waiting on my healing for years and being hindered from doing things for others- Lord cleanse of all bitterness, jealousy , malice and unrighteousness

Anyway it’s something my husband and I have been dealing with with our daughter-in-law and son because of deep deep grief in our hearts that basically paralyzed us And affected us greatly. I’ve known the dynamic of bitterness, but now it moved from my head to my heart in understanding it so thank you Patricia for laying it out, Its so helpful. I’ve been able to speak nothing but blessing over them and have a love in my heart for my daughter-in-law more than I’ve ever had. I keep repenting of bitterness and truly mean it, but it keeps coming back. The hurts against me were huge but I truly do want to forgive everyone once and for all. This has helped so much. Thank you and God bless you for sharing.

Me too! ✋🏼I don’t fee it is readily evident to others in my outward behavior. However, Holy Spirit has definitely been refining me in regard to my thought patterns. I SO hate these horrible judgey thoughts that will pop into my brain! I reject them in the name of Jesus and confess it to Him. I don’t want to be judged and I want to have love and compassion flowing from my heart for others, not knee jerk judgments! Thank you for your mercy Lord in giving us time to be purified before your soon approaching return! 🙌🏼

Bitterness creates the door for witchcraft. I rebuked an astro spirit, and this relative got very hurt. It has caused alot of family problems., but I have to speak what is right. There is a bitterness with true prophetic because you must stand with Truth. Being " a house of prayer" rather than " a den of thieves" is a basic cure. Not using the front door is a den of thieves..

I know you probably meet thousands of people and I went to your house for a day with Patricia back in 2008 and you were in Riverside California at good news church and I was blessed with getting pre-registration and having the opportunity to eat lunch with you and your team. You have been such a mentor and a blessing in my life over the years. I wanted to tell you how much I appreciate you and that you have been so consistent and such a loving person I have gotten to see it in private as well as in public you have been an inspiration. During this last season of My Life I have been dealing with this injury sickness and disease and have been bedridden and have been listening to your teachings online. I believe that I am dealing with this very thing at the moment and the enemy is using my church to make me sin even more.I long for baptism of Holy spirit AND fire. I do not want to miss it because of sin of bitterness in me. I repent of bitterness and anger instead of love.

The bitter judgement in our hearts.... wow!!!! I know a lot of people have that. I am not perfect but I have been dealing with bitter also. Jesus deliver us all.

Narcissism is not self exultation, or pride as you describe it. Narcissism is distinguished by a need to dominate and control and destroy it's targeted and exploited victim. Big difference. Yes, Narcissism is self focused and without empathy, massive sense of entitlement, . . .but the key component is that it is exploitative to the point of sadistic and vicious and strategic and deceptive and cunning and scheming. I live to tell about it as it really is, and find that the classic self focused explanation is not only a common misunderstanding, but a gross underestimate of the Satanic nature and demonic "influence" associated with Narcissism. The generic psychology term is Narcissism and the Christian term is often, "the spirit of Jezebel." Narcissists INTEND to do damage and feed on it. They are agents of Satan to weasel in as deep as they can and use witchcraft level mind control to break a person down and then progressively kill, steal, and destroy their lives in a covert manner confusing the person to the reality. It's like being caught in a web, where only by the grace of God can one be saved and escape the mind control. It's truly diabolical. I know I kind of went on and on. . . but this notion of vain self focus is narcissism is only a small slice of the pie.

I had a dream about a dog named "mara" it was now my dog but it was my mom's.. the name Mara was tattooed on the dog stomach.. Thing is "mara" was a place I lived 25 yrs ago..I looked it up and it meant "bitter"

How do you get rid of the bitterness? It looks like I can't work it out with my mom. So what do I do now what other options are there? This situation/relationship looks really damaged. Can God fix the friction/bitterness if I can't go to talk to her to try to work it out?

Thank you - correction I needed to hear. I am wondering however if we can make a judgment about something without getting bitter. The scriptures say, “The spiritual man judges all things” 1 Cor 2:15. Recently I felt compelled to leave my church because of teaching that didn’t line up with God’s Word (like hell is not forever, God is not nice sending people to hell, the church doesn’t need to repent any longer, sin shouldn’t be confronted but we should let the Spirit deal with it). I feel like my judgement against this teaching is correct but I see that my spirit of continued bitterness is not correct. For that I will repent but sometimes we do have to stand up and say something isn’t right. Esther has to speak against evil and she wasn’t wrong in casting judgement.
Hi, the last 2 weeks I had arguments with my church too because I shared with them about Courts of heaven, Need of repentance, Pleading the blood, baptism of fire. I had wrong attitude toward them and did not pursuied peace. Was actually very hostile and wanted to live. I stayed but had another negatif reaction to something else today. Through this message of PK, I realise that I allowed my heart to be polluted. I pray that we both will receive forgiveness and cleasing through baptism of 🔥.
@@sophietyrrell3131 thx for sharing. I think there will be gray areas where we disagree within the church and we need to have grace with each other. However, there is a line where sound doctrine becomes heresy and I think there is a place for speaking the truth without getting bitter. There are many people in the Bible that God called to speak the truth (including Jesus). Were they casting judgment because they were speaking the truth? In John chapter 1 we see that Jesus came to bring "grace and truth" and this is written two times. But I think if we speak truth it must be done in love and not in bitterness. God bless you.
Hi. This is about something else. Do you think that dreams and prophecy’s is above the word of Jesus and Paul, if the word that you are receiving contradict the word in the Bible? The things in which you are allowed and not allowed to do. Or do the word of God in the Bible stand above every prophecy and dreams and signs? Should we regard that prophecy, dreams and signs as falsehood and are from the serpent. (Just if it contradicts the word of the lord)
Focus on Jesus and the blood on the cross .....don't be deceived by other messages ...it's Jesus and repentance and dying to self ....the cross and the blood is enough . Bitterness goes with focus on Jesus and His grace by His blood. Highlights should on the cross of Jesus !

Ok I have no need of that. What I have need of is protecting my self. You dont know my testimony or what I have insured. I have been getting attacked by every denomination out there! Do I want ALL that God has for me yes. And if anyone says they dont that is untruthful. Jesus said greater things would we do, greater than what raising the dead? So yes I want all of Jesus, and I'm very grateful for the abundance He has already given me. But NEVER to be better then some one else. If they are saying, maybe you all should test their motives...
To be an example as we are told to do as women in the Holy Assembly of Believers in the Body of the High Priest who died for us, we should lead women in the right way and a woman should never act as a head for that is exactly what Jezebel was, she put herself in as an equal to her King husband and ruled over him?
