Salman Khan to his credit (a phrase i will never repeat) was very secure as a male actor in this phase of his career, whether it’s with Sush being taller or in Khamoshi, where he played a love interest with a much lesser part in Manisha Koirala-centered film, or KKHH where he was barely there, or even Baabul where he’s the husband who dies. He has supported women-led films in his pre-bhaijaan era

Contrary to what Shreemi’s mentioned, it’s possible that Urjita and the folks at IVM have a battery of great lawyers at their disposal because at least one of the unhinged statements that she’s made in this episode is downright defamatory!

The film got released during the 1999 World Cup and got screened in a single-screen theatre in Lucknow. Baadshah and Hum Saath-Saath Hain got released a few months later in the same theatre. I often got confused about whether Baadshah and Hum Saath-Saath Hain got released in the same year since they both premiered at the same two single-screen theatres in Lucknow

The wc in 1999 was in May biwi no 1 released then .i remember going to watch it as. A kid on the same day as the famous India england match which went on for 3 days...hum saath saath hain came in dec...badshash came somewhere in between may be eid ..it wasn't a big hit (badshah)

Madhuri is senior to Salman in professional career so her name comes first in HAKHK. Hindi cinema used to follow seniority for presetting cast

She is also older to him in age her current date of birth 1967 is fudged by 2 years heard many old timers say that she was 21 during tezab later on that 21 became 18,

Not necessarily. It's patriarchy first. Every movie is about the leading man. Salman would have insisted to put her name first. In seniority order there were so many other actors but they were all in supporting role.
