Bixler 2 build and Flap fix

Here is a video of me putting together my bixler 2. The servo slots for the flaps are incorrect so I also show how I fixed them. I use e-flite electronics just because I had them laying around. If I had to build from scratch I would have used another company. Enjoy

Thanks. Your video helped me sort out my Bixlers flaps. It did not stop me parking it in the top of a large tree.

Great video, well worth watching even for someone who has already set up your own Bix2. It's always interesting to see someone else s solution to things like the flap servo orientation, nice solution btw., Once again, congratulations on a great video. Oh, and, nice save over the fence! Since you mixed it like I did then each servo is on a different channel. One is on flaps and the other is on gear. Since they are different you can go into sub trim and travel adjust to even them out. Hope that helps

Thats awsume Mate. I the same been trying to find a V2 build vid as Im a noob into planes coming from helis. One question, What servo extensions did you need and how long? Just the Ailerons need them right?

I use a minion for my pilot. Good video,nice job. How do you like that Bix? I am thinking of getting a Bix 3. Same bird just comes qith wheels and the fpv platform.Price is right anyways.

I love it. It is very sensitive to cog, but other than that, its still flying great.

Good build video! I'm used to setting up mixes on my DX7 and have done this typre before, can I ask why you set 125%? to me that would give me an extra 25% movement on the slave output compaired to the master output?

Thank you. I know I had a reason for 125, but for the life of me I can't remeber. I have been trying to remember for 2 days lol. If it ever comes to me I'll let you know.

I know it was pretty scary haha. It took a small dive too right towards the fence. I barely made it over it. Once I got it all trimmed out it was much better. That is what is nice about the prop being in the back is I can catch it.

Yeah. The first flight was kind of scary I wasn't sure if I was going to put the gopro on. After I smoothed it all out though for the second flight I am sure it will be fine. It will be cool that's for sure.

I have the y-harness installed and wing fillet glued in-channel :-( is there a way round the flap issue, using the y-harness as is? Plugged into gear channel.

Yes very close in the video. I have, however, hit it since heh. Also put it on the roof. Not a scratch on either mishap though. I was pretty surprised.
