was this originally released for April Fool's Day? it has all the hallmarks of a good old fashioned prank, the sugar paper and poster paint hats are a giveaway but other wise full marks for effort and imagination.
ROFLMFAO!!!! i showed this to my mom (62) and my elderly neighbor (she's 85) cuz i was wondering if this was really something women bought back in the days and both said "NO ONE would have worn that; that looks like a joke video or a prank" then they laughed like crazy watching this over and over ^__^ "if my husband saw me with that he would have walked clear off and called the booby hatch" my neighbor said (>‿
She's literally just a senile old woman grabbing random stuff out of her closet and going, "This could be a hat!" "Oooh look at this, an iron! That could be a hat! Oooh look a dog, that could be a hat! Look a shoe, that could be a hat!"
My favorites, in no particular order, were the funnel, teapot, and saucepan hats. They were so over the top ridiculous that I couldn't help but love them immediately. I'm kind of half tempted to see if I can possibly try to make them for the purpose of a Mad Hatter/crazy hat party once the pandemic is finally over.
