Labetalol is a drug used to treat high blood pressure and it belongs to a group of medication called beta blockers. It is the only beta blocker that is indicated for blood pressure treatment during pregnancy.
Labetalol can cause Raynaud's phenomenon of the nipple, which is caused by vasospasm of the blood vessels and can lead to pain and decreased blood flow to the nipple.
