Hey, I know your training partner! He trained at my gym in Shanghai when he was in China a while back. Super fun guy to roll with, and an outstanding ambassador of the Tristar gym. Great video as always!
Firas is just so slick in general. I learn 10x more watching his rolling footage than I do from a million "technique videos" using setups that would never work in real life.
This is an excellent breakdown! Firas, you are the master of clearly illustrating the nuances of Jiu Jitsu. I am consistently blown away by your relaxed confidence as you roll as well. Keep these videos coming - They are gold!
this is why RU-vid needs a "love" button. great, great video. I would love more of these, especially when you are with larger partners, or get into trouble
I love this so much Firas! Thanks a million. I love watching these types of videos right before I go to class. You have the best narrations, please do more!
You're a genius. Just Realized that alot of these moves are from some of the best bjj practitioners in the world: ricardo delariva, gordon ryan. Says alot about firas constantly expanding his arsenal of bjj moves.
such a nice good looking roll, the kind you can safely learn something instead of getting injured. Always when i roll with mma guys i feel like i just almost get hurt
Master Firas your Jiu Jitsu is beautiful, I am making it a point to make it to your academy this year. Much respect from Germany and hopefully see you later this year!
This guy is so fluid it’s like a raindrop leaving a cloud. The cloud is continuously changing shape while the rain drop maintains its destination to the ground. Unbelievable technique 🙏
So many things happened in this roll, very nice. There's so many things to cover but I hope this can be an upload you do from time to time. Thanks, Content King
This is by far the best way to learn. Very similar to chess coaching. Theory (drills) is useful but without understanding the underlying concepts it is easy to get lost when a position varies slightly. This teaches concepts.
hey i know your partner! he's trained and competed with us at AMA Atos here in shanghai! what up, etienne! looking good, sir! these vids are very informative, thanks mr zahabi. love that "teleport" move. coincidentally the second time i've seen that today. will be trying it out as soon as. happy chinese new year. xin nian hao!
My favourite youtube channel, thank you so much for the great varied content, just two questions do you think you could upload your AMA's and 'talking martial arts' to itunes as in podcast format?, also would you do more videos like the one above, a gi one would be interesting. Thanks again.
Awesome narration and roll, I was wondering because I might be visiting tristar in the future, hopefully in the next few yrs. You mentioned that you guys do leg locks, but is it considered ok to do imanari rolls and scissor takedowns
Hi Firas! Which books would you suggest for bjj beginners? (Every other books you suggest on personnal development and improvement?) Thanks again for making all those nice videos and sharing this ton of incredible info on fitness, nutrition, life advices and of course martial art
Firas, please make an in depth video on Basic things to do and to avoid in BJJ positions like at 9:34 "The hornets nest" NO ONE ever talks about these basic first chess moves in BJJ! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Adnane from Morocco : Mr Zahabi you have been warming up and posting a lot of grappling videos lately and it looks like you are ready to breakdown Tony vs Khabib as you know grappling would be a huge aspect in that fight
Professor Firas, for us who train at gyms that only teach sport jiu jitsu, can you make some videos on basic striking techniques that we can incorporate and the proper way to do the techniques?
Hey coach, how often do you finish the D'arce with the hand on the forearm like at 10:30? I sometimes struggle to finish it even when I get my hand on my bicep
Hey firas do you think you can do a video on MMA WRESTLING AND THE PERFECT RANGE TO PLACE YOUR SELF FOR MMA STRIKING THANKS FIRAS YOUR A GREAT COACH also could you do a video on double legs and the blast double
Hello Firas ive asked you multiple questions in numerous videos. never seemed to have caught up. no probleem. would like to ask you something. I broke my left shin bone same way Anderson broke his. also same kind of operation. I broke my shinbone grapling a heavier opponent 25-30kg heavier. He did an inside legsweep on my left leg but he combined it with a hip throw? wierd right? weight advantage I geuss. I broke my shin in 3 places. gonne pick up bjj again when healed. would love to know how to defend the can opener when a much stronger guy does it. The normal defense putting left arm over, right arm under transisition to armbars doesnt seem to work against that pulling power. Can you tell me something more simple but effective please? much respect for the vids and evverything. greets from Belgium
