Bjork sure knows how to conduct a really good interview. She's not merely as screwed up as people may want others to believe, and certainly not shy. A great artist and conversationalist as well!
It not fake.In this period she used to live in Great Britain but a few years she moved back to Iceland and she's been living there ever since so I think it's normal for her accent to"come" back
Truly, what does she have to gain by intentionally faking her accent ? She responded to this accusation in an interview by saying she can't help but be herself. If anyone is true to themselves and not fake it's Bjork.
BjorksMusic People are just idiots. That’s what happens when you live in a foreign country for long enough, she just took on a bit of a uk accent after living there for a while. That’s not uncommon at all.
The "breakthrough" video they are talking about during the interview is "IT'S OH SO QUIET", a remake of the Betty Hutton song from the 50s. The video was released Christmas of 1995. Someone here quoted that she may be talking about "Army of Me". That's wrong. "Army of Me" is not "big band" or "50s", and she didn't "crawl up the wall" in it. She (stunt double) DID do a back flip off the wall in the "Oh It's So Quiet" video. Hope this helps. -

She's completely normal (well, that's not quite the right word), smart, and intelligible here. Very professional and artistic at the same time without all the odd trappings and tendency to not get too into the weeds of the craft, where she usually masks that stuff with cutesy stuff. Finally the real Bjork.
Perfect interview, respectful and informative, unlike the talk-show host interview that got the 500 people in the audience jeering at her for her dress, right after complimenting her for her dress. That one was cruel to say the least

Her accent is crazy!!!!!!! I had no clue where she was from til he said Iceland! She sounded Chinese then English then Irish the American. Wow. She used to scare me until yesterday. Now I think she's bloody brilliant. :-)

oh yea i heard about that mail incident but how was the reporter harrasing her?I mean i heard that sopposedly the reporter was following bjork around every were and stuff but wen did it turn to harrassment?
