Nice job explaining this. Can you start, turn on the vehicle, truck with the battery tender plugged-in to the 110V electrical socket or should it be disconnected?

thanks for the info. The manual states not to operate this in freezing conditions. Unfortunately if freezes where I am. Can you comment on that? Thanks

I've used mine a few times in cold weather, the coldest it's been used so far was -5 degrees Celsius and it worked without any issues

Would this be good enough to charge a completely dead battery on a 2016 acura ilx?

It would but is more of a trickle charge, compared to a battery charger (so it would take longer)

@@PovertyPointCustoms .... Ok thanks a lot for the reply :) A neighbor just loaned me a more heavy duty battery charger, a century 87423... but I still want to buy a decent charger for myself soon.
