Just hit 30, and will be a first-time hunter come fall. You guys have no idea how excited I am to get out there and try to get me a plump bear! Thanks for posting high quality informational black bear videos. I always look forward to watching the next one!
Cool footage of that griz! Awesome comic book version of Ryan to 🤣 He is quite the super hunter. Honestly though that was some cool affects. Keep up the good work! Can’t wait to see the how the rest of the hunt unfolds
Hi guys! I went on my first bear hunt this year. I was fortunate to shoot a nice dark chocolate black bear in Idaho. I’m hooked! I found your channel by looking for black bear hunts to fill my void and watching your show has become the highlight of my week! I’m learning so much from you and I really enjoy how you educate people with facts and that you share what kind of equipment you are using.
I like the tidbits of info you put down in the corner. I also really like the way you throw the digital route on the screen. It doesn't look out of place because it's not done in a tacky way. Super professional. Thank you!
What a fantastic episode! I am absolutely digging the fun facts, quick tips, added graphics and other visually pleasing details that help illustrate the great experience you all shared here! Keep up the great work gentlemen! You continue to “out-do” yourselves on these latest productions! Getting better and better all of the time! My sincere thanks for sharing these stories and adventures with all of us! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hey fellas, another great adventure and enjoyable FD bonus! Living and hunting solo in MT is always the reason for keeping my head on a swivel - I don't want the bear to deep-fry me for a snack :) Looking forward to the rest of the series...stay gritty.
Brotherman, your films just get better and better. Liking the creativity. Think you found your hunting buddy for life. Love the way you two hunt. Love the films. You’re doing well. The animation appeals to the comic book nerd in me! Haha
I love the new editing where you took a still shot of lampers and showed the path you were taking. It was nice to be able to visualize the route and helped the whole video become a lot more immersive! Great job guys!
I really appreciate the attention to detail in your production it’s second to none in portraying the story from the hunters perspective. I strive to reach this level of quality in my own videos and you guys push me to keep improving. Thanks again TunedToHunt
So many great things in this video. Grizz, Black bears, and my favorite thing about spring hunting.... all the morel 🍄 you can eat. I’m right there with Lamp on that one. Next weeks hunt should be a good one to finish this out! Great content Gritty!
"If you do not like mushrooms or bear meat, I don't think we can be friends"! No truer words haver ever been spoken! Im glad i have found your channel this week, I can't wait to watch the next episode on Sunday! Thanks guys and have a great week!
Dude Guys! I’m loving these videos on Sunday’s. I’m looking forward to these every week. It’s kinda like Saturday morning cartoons except for grownups. Well, there’s always a kid in all of us. Awesome video gents. Rockin it again. Can’t wait for the next. You guy’s must have been all cooped up because of Covid, because you guys are rocking it now. Greetings, Dimitri
The Grizzly footage is great! I have been a bit obsessed with them lately. Hoping to fill my fall tag. Really want to try canning. Looking forward to the following episodes!
I love your Bear Hunts. My boy and I have taken 3 bears now since last year. Bear hunting is starting to be my favorite time. Still waiting for my canner to get here so we can our bear meat. Thanks for inspiring me to bear hunt. I really enjoy watching and learning from you and Ryan . Like the word chartreuse. Thanks for the awesome podcast as well
Thank you guys so much for putting out these videos. I've been watching the episodes with my roommate every week like it's Game of Thrones. Can't wait to hunt my buns off this weekend.
I got my first bear this year! A beautiful black phase bear with a little chocolate in him. I just put together a new rifle for this fall and next spring, so I could definitely use a StHealthy hunter gun cover! Thanks for all your Awesome Shows!
I love these DIY mountain hunts! I’m not even much of a predator hunter and I can’t get enough of these videos! You guys capture all the goodness very knowledgeable and GRITTY!
I watch alot of hunting shows, and you guys are by far one of my favorites. You two are absolute beasts they way you crush the mountains, and I am extremely entertained throughout your videos. Thanks for the fantastic footage!
Love these videos. I really like the new feature of showing the map and the route with obstacles you encountered. The added artistic look was a nice touch as well. 👍
That animation at 22:00 is top shelf IMO. Seeing it laid out like that really makes it easy to feel like you’re part of the hunt. Keep up the great work. Your vids rock dude!
You guys are raising the bar with every episode. The best on the 'net. Love the way you show your path to the bear and the "obstacles" in the way (a friggen' huge griz and a roaring river crossing in the way) You guys keep on keeping' on. You're doing great!
Just found your page a couple of weeks ago and it’s AWESOME!!! Just the type of hunting I love to participate in and watch when I cannot go hunting. Best part is my 4 yr old son says “Dad I want to watch a bear hunt” first thing do is pull up is your page and we start watching bear hunts!! FANTASTIC!!!
So here I am on Father's day watching this hunting video with my husband, I was real skeptical at first, but I love seeing those cute bears and really enjoy your videography skills and facts on the corner of the videos! I may end up binge watching without him 😜
Great camp site! That griz was pretty cool. Have to say, the first time I brought home a bear I wasn't sure myself how it was going to taste and figured my wife might not even try it just because it was an unknown meat. I made a roast in a crock pot and the aroma filled the house. I was drooling! My wife commented, "It smells so good!" We were both hooked! We both think like Ryan said, that it's the best wild game meat. When the meat is gone it's a sad day.
Happy Fathers Day!! Great way to end it watching a Gritty Film. The Illustrations are spot on even had Ryan's flow on there haha. Trying to get a bear before the season ends so I can try some meat and grease!
I have had both good and bad , the first was a old bore in the fall the more I chewed the bigger it got , but I will give that one a degree of our fault because of the long recovery as we know adds to the unwanted flavor, the next two were younger and both were delicious , the video just keeps on getting better, outstanding ,keep it gritty always
Long time IG follower but first time watching your RU-vid. I love how you pause to show us the journey you take and the little Bubbles to remind of land features and animals you see. I feel like I’m right there. You’ve got a lifelong subscriber here!
All I want to do is this I'm 13 and I've spent all my money on hunting I love it so much I live for it what you guys are doing looks straight out of a dream to me and you guys are so lucky to do this when I'm older this is all I want to do
I never had much interest in hunting black bear until I started watching your bear hunt series starting last year. Now I'm anxiously awaiting each Sunday release! Thanks for the great videos and I can't wait to get my own to try canning up for pantry meat :)
Awesome video yet again! Loved seeing that huge Grizz captured on film. Such amazing animals, cant wait to see the next film!!! Much love from New Zealand
Forget Chuck Norris! Ryan Lampers is badass. It’s been said he’s got a Grizzly Bear rug in his room... It’s not dead just afraid to move! Awesome videos!
Awesome job guys! Gotta love the attitude... 45 minute grind to decide its to small and call it a good night. Most folks would have been bummed..... life lessons.
Another great video! Big fan of the mushrooms, I had a great Scout leader introduce us to fire burn mushrooms. Look forward to trying them with bear meat someday.
Grizzlies like that are what makes the wilderness so awesome. Any time you can go out and experience something that reminds you how inconsequential you are, you've had a real experience.
Amazing video guys! Lampers is like a billy goat with turbos! If I tried going down hill that fast, all you would see is a fat hobbit going head over heels until I came to a thundering crash down at the bottom and my query would be in the next county over!
That Grizzis HUGE! Thanks for the tips on the Morels. Looking forward to cutting some soon. Who does understand a non-shroom eater? Weird-o's that miss out.🍄 Looking forward to next week. ♨️
I spent one night a week or so ago dreaming about scouting big black bears. To bad it was just a dream. Summer is busy for me but I hope to hit the mountains soon. You guys have really changed view on bears. I have began to realize the value of the seemingly healthy population here.
I absolutely love the way you film and put everything together. You just put so much work into what your doing and you can tell. The info is amazing, your documentary style story telling is my favorite way to watch hunting videos. I wish more guys would put together their films in this fashion.
You guys are gritty machines! Inspiring! I love bear hunting... becoming an addict! My 18 year old daughter and I had fun with your last series. She is a published author (animal fiction/adventure) and quite the wordsmith. She knows more about animals than anyone I know! We watched together and we loved your discussions about “chartreuse.” Hilarious! And now it’s our favorite word!
Legit!!! How does this video only have 1000 likes?? Its like watching a video game. Your editing, animations, and tracking of the situation are immersive! Your videos are fun to watch!
As you two were making a run for that bear; all I could think of was super Mario bros. And that 1-1 music as you came across the bear, jumped over the creek, went through the swamp, and finally went up the hill to the bear...lmao!!! To bad y’all didn’t find a warp pipe to travel faster lmao!!! Awesome video!!! 😃👍🏻
I love the way that you film your series. Every episode has great production quality, and I like how its a mix of monologue/self interviews kind of and the "on the go" filming while you guys get to locations or are in camp. Im glad I found your channel!
Great experience! I always feel like I’m there on the adventure with you guys. When I find myself in grizzly bear country, it won’t feel like the first time!!
Beautiful looking country! You filmed that griz and then showed the color phase black bear next. It looked tiny tiny lol. Great episode. Can't wait for the next.
I've binged all your videos, and now I all I can think about is bear hunting. I'm living vicariously through you guys while I'm still quarantined in my house! Great stuff guys!
Ohhhh momma that’s a bear!! Hmm wonder when we’re going to be able to harvest some grizz in the lower 48! It’s going to be cool to see ya get one of those bad mamajamas!
Another great video to watch when I should be working. I remember 20 years ago or so, there was strong talk of reintroducing griz to the Gila in NM. I am REALLY glad that never happened.
After watching your series on Bear hunts I think I might be more excited about my bear tag this year than my premium deer tag lol. Thanks for sharing your hunts with us.
On the Washington coast I was always taught to remove the fat off a bear as soon as possible as to not make the meat taste bad. Watching you guys eat bear crspins in the back country has opened my eyes to try new things , you can never learn too much. I 100% agree bear meat is the best! Awesome footage of the griz and its good to be able to compare that to the color phase you passed on. Looking forward to the next video!
Thanks Ben! I remove the fat as quickly as possible on fish-eating coastal bears. On mountain bears I try to keep the fat but we usually cook all the fat within a week to 10 days before it spoils. Once it’s been canned or rendered on the stove, it’ll last forever. But it’ll go rancid quick in an uncooked condition-that’s why I don’t like to freeze bear meat and I prefer to can it.
