I've played this game for a while, but stopped because it was so complex... now with your videos i want to go back and start to play again, keep up the good work man!
I wouldn't call it complex. There are tons of stuff to do in this game, and it's your option to pick whatever you prefer. Do whatever seems fun for you, even if it doesn't bring the most silver to the table (or in this case, storage).
It’s not complex. There is literally nothing in the game. It’s just a grind to make up for the fact that there’s no actual content. It’s a second job if you want to get anywhere decent in the game.
@@Symcy That's the thing about this game man, as you said, there are tons of things to do in the game, so because of that, it is complex... lots of professions, each one has it's own way to make money, and for me it's kinda hard to choose wich way to go, wich profession to focus... that's why i say it's complex.
@@ragon39 How is it that there is nothing in the game, and in the same time you compare it to a second job? If i need to consider the game as my second job than there is a gigantic amount of content in the game, wich makes it complex... you need to filter all those amount of things you can do, and pick only the best, to optmize your time, and that my friend, it's not easy. It's not only grinding...
Well, that's it. Time to go full enterpreneur on BDO, I'm done killing mobs haha. Thanks for the guide, for real, this is what we need to make players more aware of the wide range of things you can do in BDO.
Dude PLEASE THANK YOURE MOM AND DAD FOR ME I AM REALLY HAPPY THEY MADE YOU NO KIDDING MAN THE ONLY BEGINNERS GUIDE THAT IS EXPLAINING THINGS LIKE PEOPLE ARE REALLY BEGINNERS!!! You juste got a sub bro thank you
white pepper, white hot pepper, rough stones, polished stones, logs, usable scanting, meat, eggs and milk. Pick what to farm and sell them in the market. All of them are heavily preordered.
you can do magical hump mushroom more quick for byproduct about 2.45hrs ++ per harvest with fertelizer and the crop sell very fast too can even do life stone upgrade if you wan, and for routine you can do lara quest at heidel for 3.5mil fragment everyday if you keep the clover 15pcs you will proc another 2bonus quest for the fragment :D hope tis help
Thanks for the tips :D They're very helpful. I should throw them into a future vid if I do this again. Yeah Magic mushrooms are the quickest for sure, I'm doing 4 hour crops because they're more manageable at the moment. I'll try those out in the future :)
The group I used to run with said I was running around like a crackhead gathering deer meat while running those scrolls lol. Turned around and bought a tet kzarka 2 weeks later after all my meals sold.
Do the Lara daily quest, 10 days of doing it yields an almost free Manos accessory. I haven't been doing it, and i'm kinda mad at myself now xD And just put your farm under Velia to be closer to the city.
If you have 15 clovers on you when you turn in the quest on the fourteenth day, Three extra can be obtained via the newly-accessible quest Small Fortunes Yields Big Fortune from Lara.
Very good video thank you, I'm a returning player. Most vids showing you how to make money are like, okay guys take out your +4 cooking clothes so you can do 1 second cooking...uhm yeah, none of us are getting +4 cooking clothes any time soon.... it's nice when people explain things from a complete novice pov.
@@PROJuank13 Same here but at 285fs😂 im always doing pen muskans or dimtrees to sell them to make money for ap. Im at 290ap kutum but i only have 304dp😅
Yea gathering is the best Ive seen so far wood-chopping for me I make around 100mill an hr on average but Ive had times were I made double as much to all the way to like 260mill in a hr by simply being lucky on drops with magic axes and that was back then when magic axes were like 1mill per axe and hard to get off the market now there's thousands of the axes on the market and there only like 20k silver so yea Ive been rolling in silver I make 500mill to 600mill on average in 5hrs just from cutting down trees. Also I have workers making the gathering cloths and I have every single one making a single piece of clothing in 40min to 50min per one and they sell around 400k to 500k maters what clothing you have them make I don't know how much silver I make with them but I know it a lot but I can say I make more than 20 per 40mins and all I have to do is buy the material off the market by pre orders then send it to the said city's were the costume workbenches are at
i wasnt expecting that someone will mention ship (parts) building ... like getting over 2 bil fro 25days of work is good side-think from making frigates, sure you need to move your ass to get the materials but it is doable or if its too harsh then switch betwen frigate and sailboat every month, sailboat is EZ AF :Dnow you need to gather wood, you will get your timber squares and some valuable items on top, you can grind for corals (pirates) to get ingots, coconuts with lvl 10 gathering nodes and artisan goblins, and over night / AFK do alchemy for shining powder + dailies to get enhanced fabric and as you are getting the items use workers from the whole calpheon region to help you build that think :D (keplan for ingots, Trent for timbersquares, Calpheon for plywood... and you will be done in 25 days with 2 bil in your pocket ... + you are grinding, gathering, doing alchemy where all those gives you some money too AND you can even run aditional workshops at the same time (tools, clothes, wagons, fishing rods) i would advise AGANIST ship parts cause they get obselote FAST because bartering/sea content parts but thats not gameplay, thats lifeskill life :D
Thanks for the tips, that's very detailed! Yeah the examples I used in the workshop section was just to give ideas on how to use a workshop. Hopefully people find better ones to use :P I didn't want to crash markets on accident so figured these examples would be good ones.
Thank freaking zeus you exist. Spent like 1.5 bill trying to learn gathering, only for a billion other people to be farming every single place I go. Telling me to switch servers or griefing cuz they're freaking gurus and harvest in a nanosecond. I haven't been having a great time. This guide seems far more reasonable than inching my way to Manos gear.
Decided to come back to this game after 3 years, so pretty much a complete beginner again. All I remember was trying to lifeskill so I will prob get into that again later after I make enough funds to supply the equipment. Thanks for this! I hope it can help me some good money :P
imPansy Thanks! I did ancient scroll boss farming for around 2-3 days and now I have 1 billion silver, no idea what to do with it though (the boss farming seems to give around 40% profit for the investment)
@@athcns4404 The profit varies depending on the prices. When I started doing this, I would just keep spending all my money on scrolls and make more money lol. Once I had enough for a TET gear, I'd buy it when I would still have 200-300m left over to start making money again.
@@imPansy Ah I will actually probably try that and keep getting money to buy gear but I will prob do that in a day or two. Currently, I am trying to get into cooking and trading in Imperial Cooking so I have an extra easy side income daily while I do grinding and etc.
This is really great video that explains in short terms how to actually use prety much all aspects of game for making money. BDO is game that combines afk and active play time. Cause of my day job and other stuff i got to do so i cant play every day for many hours but what helped me are events. Events are also great way to make some money. My play style is prety much simple and not that much awarding but eventually il got there. I grind at valencia spots and i can make around 20mil per hour selling all junks and items some times even 30mil if am lucky and am trying to catch most of events that they reelase as much i can doing that around every other day for 2h. For life skills i only doing fishing at nights afk and prety much thats it. With that pace i make around around 500mil per month, its not that much but with some rewards and cool events slowly you can aford some gear to be competive. But most important is to have fun and dont think about money all the time and eventually you get suprised with your balance. I hope this will help new players like it helped me. Keep up 👍👍😁😁
I was watching one of your vids while at Pligrims Haven and it auto looped to this video. Its crazy how far BDO has came from a year ago. I remember when "hotSpot" fishing with trade buff was good. Crazy that you can easily make 150-300m an hour now with Life skills or Grinding compared to back then when 100m an hour was GREAT. Keep up the content man!
@@imPansy I’ve been playing off and on since the old market place. Recently came back about 1 month ago. Currently Master 7 gathering and pushing for Guru for capped Mastery. Hopefully PA will continue to push out and update old content. Also please continue the podcast series. Great content to watch while banging my head at Pilgrims Haven.
I've been pretty bored the last few weeks waiting for star citizen and tarkov updates. I gave ESO a try but I remember BDO having better combat. After seeing this, I think I'll have to give BDO a try again.
Not really think is a must anymore with the fish filtering. I mean it helps but it is not as crucial as it once was. Rod durability becomes top priority I think
@@TheSilverwolf97 true. I wonder how much inventory you'd generally need for an 8 hour session of afk fishing once you start blocking yellow fish at master 1? I'll brand my rod once my fishing alts lvl is a bit higher.
@@imPansy I havent branded my rod, I have the stone there but its just that with master fishing and a balenos rod you really could let it go for a whole day and not use the entire durability. The issue was always inventory which I have 120 and still falls short because of green grade fish. Locking fish rarity is a gift from heaven, even more now with orange fish being a thing
@@immortalhybrid7570 Some of them are. It's really dependent on the market prices with the scrolls. The lifeskilling and workshops should be applicable though.
Haha sorry. I had a 15 min vid ready but decided to add stuff and editing took forever. Might as well have it all in here than split it up on multiple vids. Got too many things in the works :(
The Scrolls could be much more interesting. The idea of doing these tedious scrolls 100x over and over is absolutely insane and breaks the whole experience. Imagine you could combine those scrolls to higher tiers, so you actually combine 100x of them into one single super tough boss fight with higher loot, that also takes a while for you and your party to finish or survive. With more or different waves of mobs. Also I'd add the possibility for people to "overreach" and create mobs, they cannot manage to kill, incentivizing parties to not go too high as to not waste their scrolls. So many possibilities to spice it up.
Yeah helms is good for sure i went there by accident with roughly 60 attack points and about 85 defence and i got battered lol butt they are bunched up in groups so it is very good yeah your way you exsplain stuff so clearly and very easy to understand i bet you theres tons of viewers who use this to earn there money thankyou for doing this bro very good job thankyou for spending the time to show people how they get things done 👍👍👍👌😎😊
you forgot the important step of logging in to create a routine and get distracted in the beauty album and dying your clothes, then say fuck it and go back to farming naga.
Once you guys make your money for gear, grinding Akman and other endgame spots will net you so much more silver :). Good ways to start shown in this video though.
I feel you lol. In the same boat, which is why I've started doing bartering :P But about to make a switch to bartering on an alt so I can start grinding again !
Might be a dumb question, or maybe I just missed it but is the profit on scroll runs be based on doing the runs alone or by finding a party who is also doing the run?
If you do it with a party, the party members can loot the last boss for memory fragments. Otherwise it's not really any different for you unless you need help killing them quicker. There was a time back in the old days when people would recruit a group for "x10 pilafe's" where a fully party would summon 10 bosses each and everyone would loot each others bosses. But I don't see that happening nowdays.
Brilliant and easy to follow guide, I played BDO on Beta and have recently picked it back up again, it can feel like a minefield to begin with but your methods are really easy to follow! Subbed :) 4
Mic recommendation. The "Blue Ember" comes highly recommended from Harris Heller at Alpha Gaming. He makes videos specifically about making video content and streaming. I am waiting for a Blue Ember mic on back order right now. It is a condenser mic though.
Nice man. I bought a blue yeti last year and the warranty was still in place. They were able to send me a replacement. So far, it's been working well. Will keep note of it for the future though
@@imPansy definitely check out Harris Heller's videos. He provides a well spring of information. For example he discusses video thumbnails, which you do a great job making, by the way. I'm beginning to explore content creation with an eventual addition of streaming, so I have a lot to learn. But there are so many good examples to learn from of which you are one.
Alchemy-cooking-fishing-gathering money is heavily dependent on pearl items, you need to buy outfits and pets to ve efficient and you need to invest in tet manos equipments for sure. For this reason i dont like lifeskills except bartering
Which ones are heavily dependent? I understand the cooking and alchemy costume - what do you need from pearl shop for fishing and gathering? I suppose the pet for gathering helps. Im a fan of bartering as well.
@@imPansy hedgehog pet will increase your gathering loot by 30% at T1, it goes up to 50% at T4. Fishing pets will reduce auto fishing speed by 20% at T1. With cooking costume (canape) cooking time will reduce by 2 seconds. You should be cooking in 3 seconds under normal conditions but if you have this costume youll do it in 1. So 3 times more time is required for cooking if you dont have the costume. Bartering doesnt require a single p2w. But your video was good and helpful nonetheless.
@@omererel7766 I hear ya! Yea not a fan of other lifeskills. Cooking without the costume is doable just takes longer. That really affects how quickly you get there, but the amount of money is pretty much the same with Imperial Cooking. As for Fishing, they give out the penguin pet every now and then and I don't think the effect stacks right? Maybe if you get higher tier fishing pet. 100% agreed on the darn hedgehog. Im dreading pushing this thing to t4 lol. Thanks ! I really enjoy bartering because I don't have to worry about tax and other players until I sell a khans heart eventually lol.
I have hoarded tons of memory fragments and to this day, i never knew what their uses were. I just stored them at calpheon since the day i started lmao btw, thank you for this! tbh when i started i was kinda stupid because i thought those red books only spawned bosses for me to fight and that was it so i never really bothered with them and just used them as gifts to NPC's. It's facepalm worthy i know. I just realized this now, too T_T
Haha honestly don't worry about it. Play the game and lvl up to 56. There's a lot of things to learn in this game . Enjoy it. Here're my tips. * Play on a seasonal character. * Do the main story questline. This will gear you up.
Dope BGM and thanks so much for patiently going through the actual functions of each grind system. As obvious as parts might be, it really helped 👍🏻 sub
I know there are secret ways to make even more bank, but this is a great video for those that don't want to go through the added effort of figuring it out.
@@imPansy lol I call them "secret" because people don't usually like to share how they make their money because that would make them earn less. That's awesome. I play on console, but I'm definitely subscribing for that video.
Scrolls are now wey more efficent as in past, if u sell everything u got or if u Re-use the items into profit stuff like using memory parts from scrolls to repair boss gear wich u can sell for a lot of money, then u can maximize ure win ;D just know how
hmmm I think taxes has to be noted... it affect much of the earning eg. 1.4 mil silver sold from 1 memory frag only gets you roughly 950k silver after a 30% base tax + 5% from occupying guild
Great content bro. As a console player it will be same same but different im assuming since the pc and console version are like 90% the same with what you guys have (other that areas and things unreleased to console....yet)
and yeah the gathering is hard to estimate cos theres people with low usage and low level gathering points and still gather loads of stuff due to there R and G 👍
Wow dude, I just watched it but this is amazing. It just popped off in my youtube recommended section but I'm sure I'll be an active follower of your channel from now on. Keep up the good work!
To afk fishing. 2 quick points. DO NOT FISH AT VELIA /HEIDEL! its trash, the abolute worst spot possible and a waste of time. Hell even the koi event spot is better (and thats already a shit spot + a massive noob trap). Of course you wanna aim to fish at qeye but since its a new player guide lets ignore that cause i assume most dont have ships. Now where to fish then when velia and heidel are so bad like i said. Well as he mentions at the kama spot for relics OR if you have a little bit of time fish at drieg -> run over to lets say shakatu (or any other city rly but shakatu is easy to afk ride and got decent distance) and sell at the normal Trade NPC. Why you may wonder? Because its huge trade exp up till master+. Thinking long term thats huge and on rng price fish you want a high trade lvl + distance anyways.
oh and to workshops, check lifeskills cloths (calph for example) and rods / cooking-alchemie station (glish). The crafting stations are double nice since there are log and rough stone gq´s for extra money.
Can you really make a profit from buying scrolls? The taxes/fees from the market would kill the profits. I think it'd only be worth it if you grinded the scrolls instead?
Yeah definitely can make profit buying. I'd usually do this when the prices of mem frags are comparable to scrolls. Like 1.3m scrolls then I'd make sure mem frags sell for at least 1.27m. Whenever I grind scrolls, I always do them and sell them.
I have so much money only from doing quests, I have no clue what to do with it. Do I miss something? I do not know where I get better armour or weapons. Transfusion? No idea, what this is. I have nothing for what I should spend my money on or it says me that I have to use dozens of different things and methods to achive something. Crystal here, shard there. I have no idea. I play the game since a year from time to time and I like it. The only thing I noticed i, that I need lots of storage space because the game floods me with things where I do not have a damn clue what to do with it. Except, it says it is worth a million or so and that I shall sell it.
just got bored of osrs so ive just started playing this might give that 1b in 1 day thing a go because i used to play 18 hr days on osrs almost every single day lets go CHAMP!
I’ve been playing this game since release and hit a hard cap at lvl 57 with no way to improve my gear or no knowledge of what to do next. I pretty much sell everything I come across as my only form of income. This game is so frustrating. But combat is the only thing that makes sense to me. So all I can take away from this is the grinding.
The problem is for buy a weapon / armor TET cost like more 1/2 B. The fact you have 3 Weapons = Almost like 6 B for have all of it. Then armor, cost almost the same. So is almost more than 10B to have all equipment - And maybe more if you wanna buy Ring´s and Earings. So, to get more than 10B is like an IMPOSSIBLE TASK! Or can do what this video show but will take months or years to have good money! So, is kinda frustrating and boring -.-´ Im new gamer, almost 3 weeks lvl 60. And I stuck at lvl 60 with only the TRI equipment with 190 AP and then, cant have more AP to kill other monsters, so, I stuck very well. Dont have money to get TET weapon, so I cant have more AP, so what I can do? - Uninstall the game! xD (But thanks for the tips - sub) - Another advice - Dont sell the suppressed gear like I did xD So noob xD - I did that becouse I have the TRI gear from OASIS Event, but my Guild said when the event is over I will lose all of it haahahahah So bad indeed :(
gathering should be at pilgrims, the amount of ores gathered with jewels is much better than herbs, its not just the amount of things but the level of things and jewels give more exp
@@imPansy maybe for exp, but for money and processing and exp pilgrims is far superior. You can gather , process them to save weight and then sell them for profit. Not as good with herbs
@@imPansy fair enough, I like to prioritise doing multiple things to save time, so gain exp on two disciplines and earning money was a better choice for me.
@@KAISERDJG I have a shai at pilgrims and she just gathers stone exclusively while my main gatherer leveled up in bher. Pilgrims is definitely a great spot, funded my cooking utensils
Bdo is interesting. There’s no set progression. You can literally skip every quest and do whatever to gear up and progress. I really enjoy the freedom. While I love group content like raiding, this game has none of that. There are world bosses which everyone kills together and gets loot. Your progression is on you, which I kind of enjoy right now because I can’t commit to raiding hardcore like my old days.
I'm following your farm guide rn and i was wondering...would you advise on having an alt with different life skills, or have it all on one main character? You mention having an alt for inv space so I'm just a little bit confused, Pansy >.
Hey Jelly. I explain it in a previous video ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aWeeoESLA2w.html ) Also here's a write up: What I first farm until I have 10 farm plots with nothing but magical plants. For example 10 plots would hold 20 magical onion plants. Once I have that, I use breed until I have 20 and harvest the remaining. I plant the 20 and repeat. I sell the harvested onions and that's where my money comes from for farming. You want to breed first to get enough to replenish your farm plots so it's pretty much self sufficient. Keep workers on the plots (Giants are the best) so you don't have to manage them and they keep growing .
