Black Diamond front seat on-ride HD POV Knoebels Amusement Resort 

Knoebels did a great job with this and they preserved a piece of history. It's a fun and cool ride and a great addition to the park

I remember the first time we rode this; the creativity with the choice of the Centralia part was really something!

this came from Wildwood NJ boardwalk! The golden nugget lives on!

Honestly the drops on this ride caught me off guard with how they felt and the spinning tunnel is a great element, it feels like an inversion!

Fun fact. The swirling vortex at 3:18 is based off of the Centrelia Coal Mine fire in Centrelia, Pennsylvania.

I love Knoebels and I go there with my friend and his family almost every year. Last time we went, we decided to go on this ride at like 6:00 PM, as one of our last visits before leaving. My friend and i went on alone because our parents were still eating at the nearby food court. Most of the park had cleared up by then, so there was no line. We got on a train, seemingly all alone. Since we thought we were the only one on the ride, we kept on making stupid, loud comments on the ride and made exaggerated screams and moans during the few drops. When we got off, we realized that one of the ride operators actually caught a last-second ride on the back car of the train, and we hadn't noticed him the whole time. That was embarrassing, especially considering our crude behavior.

Such a wonderful ride, I've loved it too since my first ride, and refuse to skip it whenever I go.

What disturbs me the most about that ride now that I have context is the working conditions, and the fact that people still suffer them around the world.

Back in august of 2023, this was the first roller coaster ride I’ve ever been on

I actually ride this over 20 times when I go to Knoebels I love it

This brings back memories, my family worked at the campground and i grew up in these hills! Unfortunately my family moved away last year, but they are moving back soon.

Knoebels is the park I visit every single year

I hope to get to the park again to ride on this, the Golden Nugget Mine Ride on Hunts Pier in Wildwood NJ was my very favorite ride growing up in the late 60's and early 70's!

With all due respect this was a Hunt's Pier original from 1960. Dinosaur Beach was a last failed attempt at reviving the pier after it was mismanaged after the Hunt family sold in 1988.

Did they put a roller coaster through a haunted house?! Ok, I'm sold on this interesting hybrid. I'm adding it to my list of reasons to visit Knoebels as soon as I can.

I remember when I was little, and when we used to go to Knoebels every year, I wanted to go on this ride. But my dad thought it was one of those ticket only rides, like the haunted house, and I didn't get to go on it. And then last year, I was finally able to go on it. Because my dad's friend's daughters came with us that year to Knoebels and said that it wasn't a ticket only ride. So I glared at my dad for not properly finding out info about the ride, and I went on it. And I went I a lot of other times during our days there! (We were there for a couple days in one of the cabins. I think it was in one of the canada province labeled sections. And it was an individual one on a sort of hill, and not lined up with a bunch of other cabins.)

I went on this in real life and it's not really scary although there is a big drop in the begging

So this is new golden nugget nices has same sounds and all but with twist big-time it lives on but i still miss the real golden nugget in wildwood so much

Right that was neat and unique but those pink rotating lights they should've had more of and more often through. Out the ride those were frikkin neat. ❤️

This was always my favorite ride there as a kid because the other ones were too big and I was a wuss

Hopefully it’s open for 2022 Season. Last year due to staffing it was closed the entire Season.

This reminds me of the coal mine ride in Silent Hill Downpour. Except with out the monsters.

SO I got on it and that skeleton dinosaur made me scream so loud because it yelled and it’s mouth opened

I went on this ride and I found it a little scary to my view but it was cool thou but still it was pretty creppy

How much fun is this ride in total darkness??? And what about the different sounds from the track or coaster?-I hope the sounds are a natural part of it&not that it needs repairs!😧

Well, it's been a real long time, but this doesn't seem to remind me to much of the Golden Nugget ride from Wildwood l loved as a child. I mean, I know it's the actual ride, but looks like it's all changed. Most notably the stuff the ride was enclosed in making it look like you were riding through the mines. I heard it was full of asbestos.

This ride isn't scary but it's loud AF. Whenever I go to Knoebles I plug my ears on this lol.

Well, this is one of the shittest looking rides ive seen. Unless this is for kids between the ages of 4 to 9 years old, i would be pissed waiting in a line for an hour, only to be disappointed by this weak ass excuse of a indoor coaster.
