Black Dragons (1942) Bela Lugosi | Thriller, War Classic Movie 

I was 6 years old when this lovely old black and white was made. It has worn better than me! May I express my gratitude to whoever made this film available. Historically, it will be on show forever. Many thanks again, and regards to fans, like me, of these old movies. England, February, 2024.

Lugosi never fails to deliver a great performance no matter the circumstances he is given to deal with. He was and still is incredible!

It's a Bela Lugosi weekend for me... Today, I'm watching White Zombie, The Devil Bat, and Invisible Ghost. Then tomorrow, I'll watch The Corpse Vanishes, the premier Black Dragons, The Ape Man, and Scared to Death 👹👻☠️🙈😱

I just love these old classics. . To me it's better than anything on today.. a different time no doubt but I love it. .. that's the only movies my father ever watched and it's something I picked up from him. ..

SOME UNHAPPY TRIVIA: Three of the six actors who played the sinister pack of Black Dragons did not live to see the end of World War Two. Robert Frazer (who played Hanlin) died at age 53 in August of 1944. Robert Fiske (Wallace) died at 54 less than a month later in September of '44. And Max Hoffman Jr. (Kearney) died at the age of 42 in March of 1945. (all of that according to the IMDB anyway)

Le grand dragon noir dans le film glen ou glenda dans le film d ewood junior bela y fait allusion . Dans les films et les productions les fauchés si il y a bella ces ce qui fait l intérêt du film bella éternel et intemporel et aussi merci infiniment je n'avait vu ce film vous êtes sensationnels

The ending was.... abrupt to say the least

Boy oh boy Billie sure looks good in that slinky black dress. She was a cute, stacked bit actress.

It's sort of slow and plodding, then you get to the last few minutes, a ton of sudden exposition and THE END! (I still liked it for Bella though)

Released 4 months after Pearl Harbor. (A loose lips sink ships waring at the beginning.) Glad this wasn't a crass propaganda piece, made it seem not quite as antique.
