Because that’s exactly what they are. The IRS is the largest collection agency in the world and it’s common knowledge to never be on their bad side. If you owe money to them in taxes or credit, They can and will take everything you own and demand more. Not even death can stop them because your debts will just go to your next of kin
In addition to the above, tax evasion is a charge that’s way more likely to stick and way more difficult to hide like everything else You can be the most untouchable man in the world but you can’t fight the IRS. See: Al Capone.
Now after that, who the hell will keep up in the apocalypse? They didn't foreseen a 1% of humanity left and they won't be getting money even after we died! They haven't thought far enough. And besides, money is just money. It's only a physical object that does not leave this world
"We might as well go back to the orphanage, board up the windows, and give everybody assault rifles." Black Dynamite is ballsy trying to recreated Waco with the IRS of all things.
Since 2020 the IRS has spent over 10 million$ on weapons and ammunition, among other gear. Also the recent Inflation reduction act will be granting 80 billion to the IRS over the course of the next 10 years. somebody is getting money and it ain't me.
@@lennard5393 in that case they should first start taking it from the rich tax-avoiders with those shiny toys uncle sam bought them with the money of the american people.
@@mr.p215why the hell would i tax the rich when im just gonna give them that money anyways? They'll just go to some other place that gives them money and doesn't tax them
The IRS are victims too. You think they want to have a bunch of needlessly complicated bullshit for you to fill out? No! They want to collect taxes and spot drug lords that don't wash. Ut's the tax filing program companies that are evil! They lobby to keep the IRS from streamlining it! And probably to keep people's employers from having to do all the hard parts too!
2:00 Man really took the time to give Black Dynamite a multiplication lesson just to make a point That point being that the IRS is basically Hydra using mob tactics instead of infiltration and subversion
The "city & state" comment about them not being as nice as us is a true statement. I have been hassled & hustled by my city for not paying a certain tax for being an "independent contractor" (I dropped of lime scooters for a month). Best thing, it was from like 5 years ago & if I didn't pay up the $60-70 they wanted, I would be charged more. State always takes more than federal too, if you live in a state that takes income tax.
Depends on the state. I goofed up on my taxes one year. Took me like a week of phone calls to get a payment plan set up with the IRS. Took like 10 minutes online to get a payment plan for my state taxes.
My favorite is my situation a few years ago. My wife and I lived in different states (work related), and worked in two different states. When we filed our taxes, both states tried to collect on each others' incomes, and it took months of fighting both states to get them to understand they had no right to our incomes. States are absolutely cutthroat and I implore everyone to live somewhere like Wyoming.
He’s right about state and local. The Feds have extra cash to toss around, the local councils and state legislature need those funds so they’re gonna get em.
Black dynamite showing such sorrow over Donald The Accountant was pretty touching. He might seem like some gruff action man at first but he really cares about the folks around him
If enough of the IRS was dealt with by BD, the agents would realize that it isn’t worth losing their lives for a one party government pretending to be two parties.
The IRS are so driven, they make the Terminators look lazy They're so resourceful, they make Trump look homeless (who do you think they get those kind of resources from?) And they're so full on raw power, they make Ultra Instinct Shaggy just slightly nervous enough to pay his taxes. Maybe not exactly on time, but he pays eventually.
No matter how badass BD could be, he'd long run out of ammo before the IRS ran out of spite and greed. As others have mentioned, the IRS took out AL Capone.
The only good news is that as long as you stay below a yearly 12950. Gross earnings (when you live alone) you wont Be on their radar, granted thats way below whats livible on, so you eitger to poor to bother with, or you give them their cut if your not
I swear the fact that your taxes get auto deducted and filing your taxes by and large is just a formality to make it clear you know what taxes you paid being the epitome of holding a double barrel to our kneecaps and telling us to be honest and tell them what they wanna know even though they already have the answer.....
That's just your employer guessing how much to pay the state and feds. If you work for yourself you have to guess how much to pay them. In civilized countries like Germany it isn't a guessing game they tell exactly how much you owe.
