Black Dynamite discovers that his brother has been killed.
An all-star cast led by Michael Jai White is featured in this 1970's-style blaxploitation action film about the legendary super crime fighter "Black Dynamite." The Man killed his brother, pumped heroin into local orphanages, and flooded the ghetto with adulterated malt liquor. Black Dynamite was the one hero willing to fight The Man all the way from the blood-soaked city streets to the hallowed halls of the Honky House.

This whole movie is pure gold. All the tropes, bad editing, bad takes that made the cut, bad acting, the dialogue, it just makes it perfect. A love letter to all the 70s blacksploitation films.

The only inaccuracy that I was able to find is that Michael Jai White is actually a highly skilled martial artist. Dolomite might have known Karate, but Rudy Ray Moore sure as hell didn't.

I lent my DVD copy of Black Dynamite to a black female co worker of mine(I'm a white guy) and when she returned it, she told me that she had tears from laughing so hard. She said her favorite part was the fight with Richard Nixon.

I love when they make films that looks exactly the year it suppose to be set in.. like this literally looks 70s and it’s made in 2009. I hate films that are modern style looking but the story is suppose to be set in a different era like it just looks fake or unrealistic but this literally looks like it was made in the late 70s or early 80s hahahaha. I wish they made films like this more often. Looks better then the modern directing HD style

Black Dynamite deserves another series to follow up the 2-season cartoon. Pull an Austin Powers and have him show up in the present day after some cryo nonsense involving a ninja scheme or something. It’d be fun to see how modern characters react to his over the top self-indulgence and self-driven motives, but see his nobler sides through being a man out of time

Lmao I don’t if anyone notice but the second time he tries to get up he’s looking the way he just got hit from but people are getting flipped in the opposite direction meaning he was already back on the other side 😂 the bad acting trope is just hilarious and they really nailed this entire movie.
