I’ve had the R2 for five months and my major gripe was how tight the tolerances are in the pack. If you pack any kind of bulky items, it made the zip pockets borderline unusable because there’s less space and the pack itself had almost no give due to the waterproof material. If you get any citadel pack, I highly recommend a tech pouch/organizer. Beautiful packs but not as functional or packable as a lot of others. The Nomatic backpack for instance is far better if you have a lot of tech gear and for that pack you don’t need a tech pouch

Thanks for your video! I wish you showed the mechanism to attach the handles and straps a little closer. Is it just a hook? Do you think it’s possible to fall out when the bag is not fully loaded? I’ve heard from some issues with that from the R2.

You could get the waterbottle attachment that BE makes so that you can put your bottle on the outside to save some space. I'm going re-use the one i bought with my forge for this backpack

Will this backpack fit in an airport sizer? I know that the dimensions theoretically do not match, but in practice it sometimes turns out that backpacks 50 cm long will also fit if they are not stuffed and do not have a stiff back.

Thanks for the walkthrough! Very disappointed in this bag tbh. I love what they did with the second pocket on the front to utilize the wasted space above the front pocket, but why put all the organization in the lid? Seems like such a regression from the R1 and R2, to lose all of the internal pockets. I love the look of this pack but it's such a missed opportunity imo, maybe the R4 will revert and combine the two

Hi there whats the name of the case or pouch that you put your headphones in?

This company doesn’t have very good customer service. I ordered one and saw the pictures include 2 handles so when I received it and it had one handle, I contacted the company. They acknowledged that it was a mistake in the picture and updated the picture but all they would do to fix the issue was offer 25% off the extra handle which is effectively $5 off. Shipping and customs will cost more than they are offering. Sad about the service but hopefully the product will be good.

No integrated water bottle holder is so disappointing. Appears to be a great bag otherwise. Oh and buying the add on bottle holder ruins the look completely, it’s clearly an add on and doesn’t fit the flow or curves of the bag.
