@@kaihus The mongols have siege onager, those were generic mangonels. The hun monk had to trick the teutons into cutting the trees because the Huns only get mangonel.
@@thescribe509 its been awhile since i played. But if mongols have access to trebuchet...its a huge pain in the ass but you can cut trees with them. Lol ive done it.
Maybe a tiny bit of motion blur would help to sell a smooth animation. Or some more fps. For me atleast its hard to see it as a video and not a series of single frames. I really like the style of animation, though!
Many Campaigns in the new DLC of DE implement the day-night cycle mechanic, I would recommend Jadwiga Campaign, the best one in the entire series I must say.
Wow I just notice these soundeffects + the music alone invokes such a crazy feeling of nostalgia in me it actually insane. Like I wanna be there and re-live this utterly magial game like I am 10 again!! Damn! 🥺
Black Forest map was one of my most favourite maps in the game for two reasons : lots of wood stockpile resources and excessive trees acting as defensive walls preventing enemies to strike unexpectedly from all sides
I'm sure there's multiple ways to interpret this cartoon, but it's obvious that red is Mongols, and blue is Teutons. I liked the animations for the Hussars - immediately recognised them from their 'patient' movement when standing still. Hussars are pretty calm when they stand around - just observe it (pre-DE, dunno about DE). I'm thinking the Monk acted as a sort of spy, and tricked the king into preparing for just a Hussar rush against the Onagers. And in reality, red obviously had a horde of Elite Mangudais to slaughter the swordsmen and the Teutonic Knights.
With great management, a nice group of onagers almost unstoppable on some maps against an army. Unfortunately, one wrong move and they'll probably massacre all your units, or wander off half-cocked to attack some cavalry units..
I really love the style. But a bit more fps on movement (especially the fight in the beginning) or a tiny bit of motion blur could help, bring it to live :)
Nice! I always wanted to see some funny animations for Age of Empires 2, since I watched Carbot Animations's Starcraft 2 animations! This one was pretty good! Loved the twist that happened there! XD
The reasons that make me like Black Forest map: Because i can secure trading route with ally, and that's was useful as Turks player if you're can't make good trash unit and when running out gold mine use trade cart to our ally market
Black Forest is hands down my favorite map to play in. Also, my favorite civilization to play as are the Mongols. Build up an army of about 240 Mangudai and about 10 fully garrisoned siege rams with all my technologies researched, and just go into an enemy town to raise hell and steal their relics.
The best strategy was when in the Black Forest, if you have a market early you can sell most of the wood and devalue your opponent economically without trade they can’t buy food in desperation situations because it is expensive and with the gold on selling can give advantage in creating more troops to attack early
i did this one on that map with the tunnel-like pathway. my team was freaking out asking why i wasn't helping them on the front lines while i played as teutons. 2 of them continued holding off the enemy while one came to see what i was up to and saw me opening a passage through the forest to the enemies main economy. we both sent warriors through that path and started demolishing the enemies economies. and then they started running out of warriors to keep fighting us and the guys on the frontlines and ultimately gave up. :>
Omg this is so accurate! I love every bit of it, that part where the onagers killed some friendlies cause they were too close made me chuckle XD Oh and the way you used the soundtrack is just right, love that aswell
