Ultra sheen, Dax, & Royal Crown were used in my hair as a child I am 51 and i have gone back to those hair greases!!!!!

I use blue magic hair grease on my hair, and it grown my hair although I try not to put any kinds of hair grease they didn't seem too grow my hair so, I decided too go back to blue magic . I wear no wigs or put hair weaves , I do twist out. Great Video Sister, Peace, Blessing.

This is interesting. I kind of wonder though if they have changed the formula and have made improvements. Some companies change the products as time goes on to make improvements.

My fav ultra sheen is the blue one, my older sis used it in 90's but my fav grease of all my life is Dax pomade 1 the black one in the end of the 90's till today the green one and those are my favorite grease I'm 36 used all my life. With natural hair, with relax hair and it never fail mi my hair still strong and healthy and yes it grows way to fast 😊

@@MissTiffanyTynes I know this is off-topic, but Parnevu has a T-Tree braid spray that is LIFE! It’s a must have in the arsenal for any who have itchiness when braided up.

Unfortunately, Royal Crown has now changed the packaging. Bought some the other day and it’s now in a plastic jar and lid. 😢

@@MissTiffanyTynes To me, it seems that the grease is now lighter, if that makes sense. I would say yes, there has been some change but is close to the original.

Is Luster Oil still using the same formula though or have they made improvements such as changing the ingredients to a degree.

Did those products though enable black women with 3c and type 4 hair to go natural though. I am a 3c/4a natural and I found a good product by Luster Oil that works great but is it the same formula of the 80s. Even products that were made in the 80s, still could have improved their products. I have found other products too that have helped me go natural including a luster oil cream. However, it is possible that they have improved the formula.

I used b & b super gro and Dudley oil sheen because my mom made me use some type of grease puke 🤮 I disliked grease , and still don’t like it or use it !! Ughhhh
