20-30 years ago people were making fun of IT nerds and hackers about being sociopaths and for their inability to take a normal conversation. Now a hacker begs people to talk to each other. This is how much the world's changed.

It's crazy but he was blessed with a mind that works a certain way. Hacking and programming and teaching yourself as a kid is not an easy endeavor unless you are 100% just drawn into it and understand it right away. It took me years to learn web development and even then there is a lot about software development I don't understand or get. This guys mind saved him.

He was set up and prepared for some kind of shool-shooting to release the pain by maximum damage and destruction. But he still had this one friend who showed up in time to treat him like a normal human being...so life turned out to be good and full of love to a whole group of humans, while many many more where safed from pain and misery. Sometimes if I don't already have a conversation planned out I'll hesitate on the words that I am trying to get out. In high school I was known as a stoner and even today still have that problem though I don't smoke or get high and didn't back then either. If you're interested, look into pretty much anything tech related you can think of followed by "security" and there's a podcast, blog post or something detailing what you need. If not today, then in the future, there's gonna be enough specialization that you can find a way in. You wanna do physical pen testing? Lockpicking might be a way in, or social engineering. Want to do web security? Look into cross-scripting. Want to do red team/blue team? Any venue you've ever heard of can be a venue into it. If you can't think of anything, I'd recommend the backlogs of the podcasts Darknet Diaries and Malicious Life, personally I think they do a great job at painting a picture of how broad cybersec is.

He‘s so riveting and exudes so much clear intelligence it‘s almost frightening. I‘m in awe of Gummo and can‘t even imagine the ICEBERG of achievements he will never talk about. Truly legendary… meeting him in person would be a religious experience for me I think.

@@TheAlbin0zebra first time I heard of btc was in 2010. Probably much later than Gummo. If I would have put 10k in at that time it would be worth 5 billion. Pretty reasonable to think he’s got the stack to be honest.
