Hey guys, I assume voices change. Especially mens voices. I doubt that Leroy can do those crystal clear high notes that he did as a younger man but how great it is having the 'gift' that Stuart has of being able to perform those crystal clear notes till this very day! That's a gift that keeps on giving!

He is the one with the bald head and mustache who’s voice is now too deep to hit the same notes as he did when he was younger on Don’t Turn Around. No Stuart who can sings lead on that song and other ,but this is all the original members of Black Ivory.

Falana Jerido Falana we are still performing in 2015. In the 70s when we were at our most popular, we never performed live to tape recorded music and always used our own band. The interruption of our recording career was affected by a shift in the music industry from Soul music to disco, compounded by our lead singer Leroy Burgess leaving the group to pursue a solo career. It had nothing to do with using recorded music. This performance took place in 1995 shortly after we reunited. During this time and into the present, many promoters found it more economical to hire artists to perform track dates instead of dates using a live band. Our fee cost less for a track date and the promoter also saves on sound reinforcement equipment. We prefer to use a band and still perform with one, but will take track dates if that is what the promoter's offer is. In fact, the use of tracks increased our opportunity to work and lengthened our career instead of shortening it. Your speculation that "that is why they didn't last" is unfounded. Falana Jerido What, yo wtf are you talking about? You didn't even know these are the same guys from the 70s. How the hell are you gonna say why they didn't last? They never broke up they just stopped recording and as you can see they still singing still sound good. This is 1995 check the 2013 vids of them matter fact you're not even a fan just some weirdo with nothing else to do so nevermind...
