you mentioned crossplay having no option to be turned off. its actually possible to do that on xbox, its just not a feature of the game outright, its a small part of how bot lobbies are made, at least for xbox. just thought id put this information out there
You seriously complaining about controllers getting aim assist? How about being forced to play vs PCs that can have aim speed at 20 and able to move faster than aiming set at High speed? Or the fact that we are forced to PAY for MP and deal with 1/3 of PC players using Aimbots?… Could you be anymore hypocritical or pathetic about it?
"Casual player" - There's no such thing anymore. I get in an hour or two each night, and with my .97 k/d, I get absolutely smashed. Most games I don't even live long enough to get my loadout. And that's fairly new in season 4. In season 3, I had 12 wins. Season 4, 2. Season 4 BR is just a non-stop grinder
The fact that the anticheat can't see a new player with an unlock tool and ban them is insane. They can track crazy things for challenges. But they can't tell when a level 20 has a gun or camo they shouldn't be capable of having?? Its insane how many low level accounts with fully leveled and camo'd out loadout guns I see. Indy studio problem I guess.

I don’t care about the SBMM as all I play is ranked. What they do need to do is TURN DOWN aim assist. As a MnK player it’s super tough and I’m not crying tbh it’s just sickening how strong it is. The visual smoke and shake on mnk don’t make it any easier against AA in CQ fights

That's because pubs you get f*cked being slighty an above average player. They use you to fill the lobbies of the top 1 percent players. Just like how it's utterly impossible to ever get a nuke yourself yet you're in lobbies with people capable of getting nukes!

Why can't unranked SBMM be like mutation quads? It feels mixed, I see absolute bots in a lobby and there is an absolute sweat in the same lobby, unlike normal BR quads where it is only sweat making it feel like ranked
I actually said the same thing with the initial LTM. I was like uhhhh I don’t think this has SBMM cuz I was running into the same thing. Was very diverse which was nice.

They need to bring DMZ back permanently. It was the perfect setup for casuals. A mostly non-sweaty playground with tons to do and many different ways to “win”. Leaving Warzone as just BR and resurgence means I might as well not install it because it’s unplayable for those that don’t have time (or desire) to “git gud”
Bro as a controller player they ABSOLUTELY NEED to nerf aim assist. You can’t even tell who uses aimbot anymore bc it all looks the same. Dont even have to aim anymore
I'm in gold and pretty much in every game i run in to "bronze" players that absolutely smashes everybody. This, of course, is platinum and diamond players that reverse boosting and starting new accounts, because this rigged matchmaking system is ruining it for everybody, exept the cheaters.
The omnimovement sounds like a lot of fun but rotational aim assist will just ruin it for MNK again. Input based matchmaking would be nice in this case. It’s frustrating always trying to improve and any competent controller player will just never ever miss a shot in close range meaning I have to play perfect every time to win, which is not how being human works. They’re obviously not going to touch it since most players are now on controller. It’s a lot of fun playing aggressive and fast and with omnimovement, the skill expression and plays could be really cool, but I can only see them pushing RAA even higher because of it. I guess only time will tell, but for competitive integrity’s sake it would be nice if the inputs were at least similar in difficulty and success.
The game is going to just suck with only 2 viable guns to use each season because meta ain’t nobody going to use all the guns at launch you can’t it’s a sweatfest and sbmm doesn’t work for casuals at all I can confirm this as me and my friends aren’t getting easier lobbies trust me wallhackers and people that drink 3 energy drinks and shoots with pre aim as soon as you walk in that’s why I’m done with cod as well just not fun anymore.

Idk bro I just started playing about a week ago on mnk haven’t played a Cod since Advanced and yeah aim assist is strong but if you just run smokes, get behind or just hit headshots roller players can’t beat you they hit 90% bodies

If all else, i just want input based match making as an OPTION in the game. I built to PC to learn how to play on PC not to pickup a controller. I want to be rewarded for my instincts and aim instead of getting beamed (I still frag out but when I'm the only mnk player in the lobby my boots a lil
Defiant has shown me I don’t need sbmm to have a great time. I’m a dad in my 40’s who doesn’t play much anymore and I’m still super competitive against everyone I play against. I’m over all the hand holding cod integrates into their game.
xdefiant has "input based" matchmaking, which keeps kbm players with kbm players, and, controller players with controller players. Might be good for them to implement it here.
Dont forget in past cods when u went into prestige the dlc weapons WERE NOT locked with lvl 1. So my guess the battlepass weapons will be unlocked even if you prestige because you don‘t unlock them via level
aim assist should exist, but it should never be able to pull someone's screen 90 degrees. i watched Sallyisadog while parachuting and his controller on his desk, have a character jump through his crosshairs, and it drug his xhairs from the roof of prison, all the way to the ground; staring at his feet. i've got a 3.76 k/d on kbm, and it was 4.8 last year, if aim assist was actually just an assist, and not more of a hack, i'd be around a 6.2-6.4 like i am in counterstrike. this is ignoring the cheater/rick o'shea issues. currently if you play in quads with just a single person on kbm in your party, your lobbies will have 2-3 full teams of hardcore cheaters. doesn't matter if you're on pc, it's input that matters sadly. also, i actually think Blackcell is great, as it has about $50 worth of value, though they say it's around $90. Blackcell seriously did up the value when it upped the cost, it would be nice for them to just offer the 20 tier skips at 2400 total for the battle pass too though. bundles are absurd currently, didn't think inflation could hit non-fungible items that hard/fast lol.
Sbmm is not made towards the casuals, it is a scummy marketing move that addicts you to the game. You constantly go without winning and play out of anger and are blinded by rage to just do decent, then when you finally win or get a positive KD for a game, the game makes it even harder so you have more play time in their game and buy more shit. Sbmm is not for sweats, it’s not for casuals, it’s for Activision
I highly disagree from the aspect of casuals. If u aint that good, ur gonna have easy lobbies. If sbmm was off, you'd get ran thru. Sweats dony like sbmm cause they want lobbies of players like u. So what you're saying doesn't make sense. Lower level players would have HARDER lobbies without sbmm. Think about what you are saying.
The dev just had an interview about why they have SBMM in the game. It is to protect the low skill player Since 90% of players is casual. No SBMM making casuals get stomp they most likely leave the match or quit playing The Game No casuals no bundles or skins since they the one's that by most that crap. All about money and marketing.

I would imagine that for warzone they’ll leave your guns unlocked after you prestige but multiplayer, probably not. They’ll have to really look into that and give it some thought otherwise it’ll cause problems for sure
First time I will wait for the open beta to see how the game is. The Omni movement looks really great but as a MnK player I am very skeptical of how tracking enemy players is going to be specially against controller players and the current levels of Aim Assist. second if the open Beta is as sweaty because of sbmm like it was in MW3 that is a red flag for me. Been playing X defiant every now and then and alltho I don't really care for the special abilities in it but the matchmaking has been a very nice. knowing your not getting screwed over by a system working against you.
One change i hear no one talking about . Don’t display the first circle for 2 minutes or so . Changes the gameplay depending where that circle shows and opens up more areas for teams to drop. Most teams play in circle off the bat and gate keep.
Zac, I am not sure whats going on with COD. I played COD today and the lag, stuterring is insane! I always die because of lag/stuttering. This makes me sad. I love MW1. Never experienced lag, love how the weapon behaves…everything.
I think omnimovement will be broken on PC, it is easier to run backwards and to the sides by pressing a key that will give you 100% activation of the command. There will be players who abuse this and the game will become boring. Also Ricochet is trash, labbies are full of players with everything unlocked with wallhacks at level 45 or less
How is pressing a letter broken compared to pushing back on a stick? The stick is the advantage because u can regulate speed with the stick. U can’t do that by just pushing w a s or d on the keyboard
@@otrOptions me either. Especially when he can adjust his min/max on his controller to go to 100% immediately with his deadzone settings menu. Controller players are always trying to find a way to say we have some advantage because they know we know their aim assist is what’s broken.

Crossplay IMO is the biggest savior of call of duty. It was dying and Lobby count was dropping. It’s so much better being able to play with friends on any system. And now I can get a pc and nerd out with setup because that’s what I do. And my buddies who just want to plug and play don’t have to worry about trying to figure out perfect optimization and can just turn on their console.
My big problem with SBMM is that in MWIII I'll go hard, make lot's of good play, and have either a good KD or more than my fair share on objective. Warzone I like, but my attitude is more casual, so it's like the game's expecting me to pop off when I want to chill out a little.
@whosImmortal Unpopular opinion- movement needs to be toned down. Current combination of hyped up superhuman movement speed (equal to or faster than incoming burst of fire) hit boxes with different damage properties, no accuracy penalty for jumping or diving (jump and drop shots), and magic armor plates that cover the whole body (all hit boxes) allows players to exploit poorly written/thought out code to “tank” extra damage and win gunfights they should, by all rights, lose. This is not “skill”. It’s poor design and a dumb “videogamism” that should be corrected. Skill is processing all the information regarding the terrain, gas, drop line, likely player positions and putting yourself/team in a position to initiate and win gunfights. I’m not saying COD needs to be super realistic, as that would be PUBG, but it should be at least semi realistic as advertised. If the devs aren’t willing to make those major changes, the minimum they could do is bring back “realism” mode aka “hardcore” for the big map for those of us who don’t love the current souped up state of the game
The thing is that casual players need to get over it. Not everyone hops on the game is cracked it takes time and practice! And if they have no thoughts of trying to get better than that’s really a personal problem. I’ve been shadowbanned consistently ever since I started being really good at COD, and it’s plain out stupid. Just because I’m better than someone doesn’t mean they should have the authority to ban me for 5 days at a time.
They don't need to turn off cross play if they implement a good anti cheat. Improve console performance and give console the ability to turn down graphics to improve performance

if there wasn't SBMM wouldn't people lobby-hop until they ended up in a game of people their own skill level? I heard that's part of the reason SBMM became prevalent over ping-based match making for example.
Im a casual player i play like 4 hrs a week but i have a high kd i quit grinding MP camos because i kept getting into sweaty lobbies. I remember having a 5kd in BO1 but back than we only had drop shotting nowadays. The newer generation it makes it harder to keep up with these younger players.
Hackers: just create a new account if banned. Crossplay: no console only option. EOMM : is not SBMM (that's why I mainly play rank). EOMM is a shady system and business model.

Prime Pete explains it well and Trid TV explains the Activision patents . People with high skill might overcome it, but the casual like me, who's supposed to cater too, feels it.
SBMM in this game is broken. There’s no reason I should be in games with people dropping over 20kills in search (on my team or not) because I very rarely get more than 10 in a game lmao.
There's too many wtaf moments in cod/warzone that happen too often to be coincedence. It's as if the game is determining who wins certain battles based off some metric or maybe just dogshit servers, half a mag of empty hit markers but no damage? Watch the death cam and it looks like you were aiming everywhere but the target despite the hit markers and recorded gameply showing otherwise.
The funny thing is I’m actually really good 2.90kd and I. Litteraly have to try to not get more than 10 kills per game because I get shadow ban every time I smoke an entire lobby for 7 days

They could fix SBMM by reducing the matchmaking slightly. If you imagine 1-10 10 being unreal Warzone god and 1 being a literal bot. Instead of matching 1-5 and 6-10 together (like it seems) they could match 1-3, 4-7, 8-10 together

SBMM - I’m a decent player WZ KD is a 2.7, my friends are .7 and lower… with that we still end up in my lobbies and they get slammed. They don’t stay on the game long because of it and don’t play often without me. I bet other friend groups experience this. I wonder how much this is affecting their bottom line. I think it should exclude the top and bottom player of a squad and base the lobbies off the middle ground players in the team. Thoughts?
I'm not a good or great player in any sense of the word. I'm constantly in sweaty lobbies and getting knocked by a kar. So I guess SBMM isn't working for me smh.
All these top streamers or COD shills get bot lobbies either from Activision or by another method that these shady streamers use to get their clips and vids.

The only way we’d get the old CoD ways back is if we could get mostly everyone to stop buying CoD and in game purchases which won’t happen. If it wasn’t Treyarch this year I wouldn’t be buying it.
I kinda want warzone to not lose the guns that you lose from prestiging. In wz, you almost need meta guns to win so that draws a lot of people like me away from prestiging. Do you think there could be a way they do prestiging without these drawbacks or concerns from wz players?

wouldnt be locked behind prestige, but if you're actively prestiging, and say a meta weapon is unlocked at level 53, you're limiting yourself against SBMM teams full of META users
Cross play topic: If COD implement that option. Allowing players to turn on or off you would think from a business standpoint it would still be beneficial. I think most console players would be happier to play against another console player and not having to deal with PC gamers that has a bit more of what you say technological advantages but more happier not to deal with Hackers or Cheaters. Which is my main issue, the Hackers. So, more “casual gamers” would play even more.
I'll say whenever I turn off cross-play it takes forever to get into a game and I have to back out and re-que a few times and when I finally get into one ITS ALL DEMONS........multiple champions quests going on, TTV gary and YT kyle and I get it, its SBMM and I have a decent K/D but my goodness.
There is no upside to playing Key and mouse on COD anymore and is not even fun. Aim assist was designed to give controller players a fair advantage because of how key and mouse movement and aim was considered OP at the time. However when you got rotational aim assist on crack and can hold a stick to the left or right and spin a 100 circles in 3 seconds with better movement then an advanced key and mouse player then I do not believe controller has much of an argument for how they are disadvantaged anymore. I by no means am a controller hater I just feel we can all agree that when you spend as much time as we all have to become good at the game it is like being kicked when you are down. Having proven input lag that controller players do not experience and the fact that aim assist allows you to get unfair information when your aim assist picks me up behind a wall you are looking at like how is that even a thing? FYI if you have ever had your high alert go off in a stair way or a wall that you are only one there and can't figure out why then that's what is going on. If key and mouse had an advantage anymore then the majority of the player base would not be on controller. I for one am going to for the first time in years not even buy the new game at all and that is how we change the game! If you do not care about the community anymore then I can't support your business anymore 100%
They run off all the casuals without “OP” aim assist and SBMM. And then the real crying starts when the sweats only have other sweats left to play every match 😂 Casuals are 100% who they have to cater to hardcore if they want a large, healthy community for a game
I would love to know what their definition of a "casual" player is. I work and can only get on at most twice a week and my lobbies are sweaty, if not worse than they were before. Maybe my problem is I can still keep up
their main casual audience doesnt even do social media tbh. They just log on and play and buy bundles and arent in the loop with any of this stuff consistently

I won’t play anymore. Without being able to turn crossplay off or to console only it’s not worth my time to play against wallhackers, sbmm, aimbot, and art is war audio cheese. It’s too sweaty and I’m never gunna make money off of the game. If it’s to not lose the pc community then I hope the console community stops playing until they are prioritized.
Hey, Zach. Could you clarify for me which divisions of ranked are allowed to play todegter? I heard/read that crimson can only play with people one division below them, but I just had two bronze teammates (I'm d1), by circle 4 one of my teammates had 86 damage and the other had 0 damage, meanwhile I'm getting melted by crimson players 3 stacking. What's goin on? Edit: as well as doin 0 damage, they're constantly breaking windows, slamming doors, shooting at (and missing) players 150m away, revealing my position non stop, as well as dying constantly to the point where I'm just always pinging on somebody's minimap each time they get finished, bronze player stuff, but why are they in lobbies with sweaty crimson players :(
Have we heard anything when it comes to traditional prestige if we’ll get one permanent unlock each time you prestige? Could help with the problem of not having a meta weapon if it changes right after you prestige.
Does anyone who play MW3 or Warzone like the current movement? Or are you more excited for Omni Movement coming in Black Ops 6? I actually enjoy the current movement and I just fear this new movement is going to end up something like MW2 from two years ago. I know it’s by a different developer although using the same engine but I feel like it’s gonna be a disappointment. I hope not but this franchise doesn’t also have the best track record. LOL.
