Thread bomb Yes exactly three man and a baby style! Like when they go to read a bedtime story to the baby and James goes: tonight we will read the lion king and then goes Mason... what do you think the story was? Mason: Aaaaaaaaaaahhh.. there was lion or whatever who's to say... And any other funny moments this three can come up with oh and the dog too!
Glad you liked the Black Panther trailer music, it was dope. People were moaning about that having rap music was a stereotype...then suggested it should've had tribal African drum music over it instead like thats somehow better.
As a South African, I hate listening to other people do the SA accent, it is so cringe worthy. But I guess it's how we enjoy doing/ripping off the Aussie accent mate.
32:52 The reason why the Superman suit was extra red and blue is that it's that always been that color in person -- but not in film. It's actually very colorful with very deep blues and striking reds. Honestly, the picture Cavil posted doesn't do it justice. If you look at behind the scene photos of Batman v Superman, you can see how bold the colors really are a little.
Your South African accents are great! And yes we do make fun of our own accents, especially when Afrikaans people try to speak English!! Love your work gents, keep it up!!
+Pesky And to what else would they throw millions of dollars at? The X-Men? Oh wait. The Fantastic Four? Oops. Spiderman? NOW that they FINALLY CAN do it, they are. I love how MCU fanboys prize Marvel for using unknown characters, as if that was their choice(completely ignoring that Marvel had no other option). If Marvel could choose, they would have focused on their most popular properties(X-Men, Spiderman, FF4) from the very beginning, and ignored all the rest. Because, as the formulaic MCU movies already showed us, MARVEL IS AFRAID OF TAKING RISKS!
+Ukaran Hey, you make a good point about Marvel not having so many options. I think Mr Sunday and Mason even said that in this episode. Anyway, I'm not here to argue with you, I was just trying to make a point. See you next week, I guess. Thanks, and take care.
The Reshoots are taking so long because of scheduling issues. Jason and Amber are filming Aquaman Right now and need to be brought back in plus who knows what else is being filmed with the other people.
I think an origin story for Han Solo would be ok so long as it's not also a precursor... A bit like Wonder Woman! An origin story showing how he initally became a smuggler, leaving the decades between to be filled-in by mystery and reputation. PS: Your wife seems nice, I'm glad that she's unforbade. 10/10
i love this channel, most underrated channel on youtube, funniest guys, I dont care at all about podcasts, but I havent missed a single one of your podcasts, keep up the good work, ya funny blokes
You mention Val Kilmer hasn't been in a comic book movie... Batman Forever doesn't count? I don't think you're allowed to play another character after being Batman, even if it was one of the worst Batman movies ever... or maybe especially because...?
Wait I'm not getting thick, but from what I read you're saying that if you've been in one comic book movie you can't be in another but Michael Keaton is doing it
So Tom Cruise's super mummy power is kissing a woman against her will to death, and kissing a man back to life for adventures? And it's not the best movie ever?
I can totally feel you guys having a blast when listening to your podcast. It always puts me in a better mood and makes me feel part of the conversation. I also get what James was saying about shooting videos on your own. There is literally so much B-Role in my videos of me screwing up or arguing with myself when I work on my own videos. It's like James said it's much easier to bounce off someone then sitting in a room with a camera literally talking to yourself.
Couldn't they include the film, Victor Frankenstein, into the universe? Just get the same actors and everything since the characters are in the public domain, and just act like Bride is a sequel.
Clone wars is the most requested era. On battlefront one and two it was the most played part of the game. People love themselves some clone troopers. The mistake was no including it in the first game.
Those Justice League rumors are complete nonsense. They are adding a handful of scenes that were already planned. Zack brought Joss Whedon in personally to write the extra scenes. It takes weeks to get everyone back together. Half of the actors are already shooting other films it'll take awhile to get them back for shooting. This idea that they are going to reshoot most of the movie is just not true. Geoff johns has said as much.
The Book of the Dead is an actual ancient Egyptian scripture. It has spells that help the souls of the dead navigate the afterlife. So that's probably why it was brought up in this movie too. Oh and London was founded in 50AD.
Oblivion the movie was pretty fun to watch and I thought it was good, and jack reacher is also fun to watch but now we have two john wicks soooo, no need for jack reacher.
I feel like directors are more of a draw than big box office stars nowadays. For example, one of the biggest reasons I was excited for Baby Driver was Edgar Wright. But I will also see any movie Harrison Ford is in, so take that as you will.
I think for me Tom Hardy is the actor I'll always go see, no matter what he's in. I feel he can carry a film and has yet to be in a bad one from the dozen or so I've seen. Cheers guys, love the pod cast!
Tom Cruise actually wrote one of Katy Perry's early hits. Scientology dudes hushed it up though, they didn't like the .."..hope my boyfriend don't mind it" line.
Did #MackWheldon stop marketing their clothes as antimicrobial? Why aren't they advertising during these times? I went to their website anyway, and there is no mention of the term antimicrobial.
you know the main reason I don't listen to these podcasts is if you haven't seen the movies they review, they will spoil the shit out of them... I can't just get your opinion ? ... anyway I do listen when I have seen the movies but I can't keep up with you and I think it really hurts your views
Love your work, but your off on your Rogue One description. It was considered by most including the studio a huge success. However if they screw up the Han Solo film. It won't be pretty.
What the fuck is with Sony and spoiling there Spider-Man movies?! They pulled this shit with fucking *Amazing Spider-Man 1 and 2* where over the course of their advertising they revealed pretty much the entirety of those films. It's annoying as hell. *Civil War* put a good chunk of T'Challa's powers on display out of costume. We see him leap super far to try and save his father when the bomb was about to go off. He also fought Bucky toe-to-toe, and showed up some Captain America levels of agility.
I watched the Mummy and thought it was a good time. It's getting shredded critically but I enjoyed it way more than that shit stain David: Covenant. Was it the best movie? Certainly not, but it's far better than what it's being reviewed as.
Jason Dodd yes, you a guy on the internet know better than professional movie critics who review films as a profession and possess immense knowledge of the craft.
