Have owned a Trangia 25 for a while and really like it so decided to get the Trangia 27 and so glad I did. The Trangia 27 has never been high on my list of cooking systems as for one person cooking have always thought it a bit big and bulky but having used it realised that I should have bought one years ago. Shame on me....

I believe the lids are Trangia mini Tundra LID for the 27 series set and Trangia Tundra LID for the 25 set. Not pretty but servicable is a Toaks 140mm lid, pinch together the under side bulge, a lot of adjusting needed as it curlles a lot. Only, eventually fits the 27 Outer Pot. Thanks for sharing

My favourite cook set is the small Trangia mess tin with a two homemade alcohol stoves. One for boil the other smaller one to simmer. This setup has worked well for me for the last few years. I'm a fan of alcohol stoves for a day hike. Anything longer and it has to be gas

I tend to use the trangias 25 and 27 for family car camping, but for solo stuff, the 28. The first 2 are not the smallest, but the cooking experience just feels better having all the pots and kettle etc. I too am enjoying your content. 👍

There use to be a plate that fits both 27 pots. May be not made any more. I did have details but on a long ago defunct smart phone. Unsuccessful searched have silenced me. Why are lids such a problem? Thanks for sharing, no reply necessary.

Awesome video! Love your content! I use the trangia 27 with a plate like yours and trangia gas burner or firebox burner with defuser disk added. But never had black pudding?

Glad you thought it was worth a watch. Am trying to up my game. I really enjoyed using the Trangia 27, may try it with Firebox gas next time as have found it to be an excellent little stove. Black pudding is well worth a go 👍

Looks like a hot mess TBH.. next time, use some fat in the pan... it is CRYING for grease so it won't stick and those mushroom actually saute instead of burn.
