The fact that EVERY single person that carries the geneseed of Sanguinius is capable of falling, and in turn feel the rage and hatred that Sanguinius, the fairest and brightest of the Primarchs (even if he had a darker side) felt for his closest friend and brother, speaks volumes of just how strong those emotions must have been.

I've always found it interesting that they seem to constantly be reliving Sanguinius's last moments as if his death left some mark upon the warp or his geneseed

Remember everyone, even if the blood angel is ripped into actual pieces and missing almost every important organ, they still fight on whilst under the affects of the Black Rage. Add the black rage and red thirst and you have yourself a loyalist bloodthirster. Too angry to die, too thirsty to think.

The defeat of Sanguinius against Horus was so unfair and frustrating for the entire imperium that even ten thousand years later his sons are trying to figure out how he could have won and become mad because of it.

Seriously, imagine facing these frothing berserkers in battle. Enraged to a degree regular humans are not even capable of, and so immensely powerful they could probably beat a fucking bear to death in seconds, even without equipment. And on top of that, so senselessly insane that they are not even aware of what's going on around them . Absolutely terrifying.

Saying it now, the Blood Angels impersonate their Primarch far better than the Alpha Legion.

Abbadon swung his clawed fist into another lapdog of the False Emperor, these ones being Blood Angels. Before him stood Dante, hacking down traitors like wheat before a scythe. “DANTE!” Boomed Abbadon, his voice amplified by his helm. “Abbadon!” Snarled Dante, as he wrenched his sword from a Terminator’s gut. “Does it pain you to see this, Angel?” Taunted Abbadon, flexing his arm, showing off the Talons. Dante twitched, then fell to his knees. “Pathetic” smirked Abbadon, as he turned and walked away. “Justaerin, dispose of that golden mess” he voxed to his bodyguards. Two of the black armoured brutes stomped towards Dante. Victory was in Abbadon’s grasp. Here he would finish what his father had started- wiping out the Blood Angels. As he walked calmly away, he heard the screech of metal and the gurgling of blood. Abbadon smiled to himself. Dante had been put down. Even as the thought raced through his mind, he heard a blood-curdling shriek, a cacophony made up of 10,000 years of untold anger, rage and sorrow. A shriek that made Abbadon feel afraid, the feeling having been removed long before. He turned again, and the last thing he saw before his life was ended was Dante, screaming Horus’ name. Millennia of Chaos patronage and fighting was weighed against the brute fury of a dead angel, and was found wanting.

Imagine if you will: Dante is fighting Abaddon and is brought to his knees coughing blood. Abaddon delivers his usual evil monologue. Dante's entire body starts shaking as THIS starts to play.

As abbadon saw dante snap...what he saw was the closest thing...to frightening. Dante stood upright. His gaping wounds lingering as he grabbed the axe...his jump pack ready...it was a slaughter. For once,dante had let the black rage take him...and 10 milenias worth of unconceviable fury allowed dante the inpossible. He was for all purposes bathing in the blood of thousands...as he fought with a unholy rage,and the might of sanguinus. Abbadon knew of sanguinus even now... and it was then abbadon knew. He could not kill dante as he was. The black rage could make an angel thousand fold more lethal,but to someone such as dante...his bloodlust and all consuming fury was almost that of a primarch. And so the last true son of sanguinus and the last son of horus fought. There battlqe shook the earth,tore the stars,rended reality...as abbadon was killed,his spine ripped,his torso cut through,his eyes gouged and his hearts broken. As the warmaster was now a mangled corpse. As the battle ended...as mephiston came to help mercy end dante...light filled the area. And in a world tainted by chaos...the emporors light purified,as from dantes place...stood the angel...in all his reborn glory.

The rage of the angel. It feels so odd seeing this, and then looking back to the Lementers. Showing they are truly capable of great kindness, and great rage.

Guardsmen: sir do those space marines seem a bit more cross then normal to you?

You have to wonder, is it more blessing or curse to live in Sanguinius' mind during his worst moment? Considering it is SANGUINIUS' mind after all.

More proof that the chaos gods intentionally had Horus lose to establish a perfect balance of chaotic paranoia filled stagnation that is 40k. Khorne cares not from whence the blood flows, nor where the rage comes from. With every kill and rage filled cry the Death Company feeds the blood god more then even his own berserkers.

The most beautiful part of this song is the sound of a chorus of voices all simultaneously screaming "HORUS!"

Wow, what can i say. This song is amazing, the lyrics are top notch and the growl hits just the perfect spot. The transition between the black legionnaire vs the BA and Horus vs Sanguinius was amazing. Overall, probably one of your better songs, and again, that growl was just SO good. Imagine Abaddon’s face when he’s fighting Dante or some other Blood Angel Chad. He gets them on their knees, then just before he deals the killing blow they just utter “Horus…?”

The first parts sounded a bit like Doom but the moment the singing starts it reminded me more of Devil May Cry. Either way, fucking delicious sounds right here.
