Tools as I am sure you know Black Rambo is a Marine, which I understand doesn't always mean anything. Yet I find him to be a serious gun person, and I am sure when he worked on this deal he was serious about the ammunition living up to the claim they were making on the box! Because I can remember when he made a video talking about this ammunition coming out for retail sale, which he brought this very topic up in the video I recall watching!

This is actually the second batch of Black Rambo Ammo. The first batch says manufactured by Ammo Inc. not sure about this batch though. Tools, I’ll send you a box of the original when I get in from offshore in 2 weeks. You wouldn’t believe these things are only $20 a box.

Never heard of this before, but that big projectile was moving for not being +P. That projectile is proven and this test just shows that when loaded right, sometimes the off brands out perform the mainstream loadings for sure! Great test Tools!

Always glad to see ammo that performs the way it should. Great video as usual. I picked up a new tool the other day. It's the new S&W Bodyguard 2.0 in 380. 2.75" barrel, 10 and 12 mags, front night sight w/ orange outline. It's a beauty! Shoots great and reliable so far. It's not going to replace my G33 for EDC, but it will be cruising around as my backup.

Whoever has named this ammo better lawyer up for a lawsuit because "Rambo" is a copyrighted trademark. Can't use the name without permission. Been there, done that with a copyrighted name unrelated to firearms, and I wasn't even making any money off the project. Thanks for another informative video on an excellent ammo.

That is 100 percent gold dot. From the concave base. Definitely gold dot expanded petals. You can even tell though it’s off color it’s the same dot in the middle. If I’m wrong, i’m wrong, but I see what I see

One does not need plus p if they pick great ammo like this. I'll use plus p in lower pressure calibers like 38 special or the venerable 45 acp, but in 9x19... not necessary. Another great test from a fine American. Tyvm

Not bad. I've heard these were good but could never find any in stock. Black Rambo even says since he has to pay outta pocket that this ammo is low quantity production so it's hard to keep in stock. I can't recall if he ever says who he partnered with for production. Another great test.

Good test, Brian! While I think the velocity is just a bit low (I have high standards!) it clearly gets the job done, even if penetration is a bit shy. Personally, I prefer 16 - 18" works best for me. Thee look like viable SD rounds so it's good to see them on the market at a reasonable price. I wonder if they sell components? One possible thing, if the cases are truly moly plated/coated/whatever, if the cases are too slick the cases might not expand enough in the chamber, which creates more thrust from the case on the breech face. So if anyone shoots a lot of these, keep an eye out for that. Cheers, jc

I know it wouldn't be the most efficient way to go about it, but could you buy a 1000 HST loaded factory rounds, pull them, add more spice, repress then in, and overcharge for them? The "hottest HSTs"?
