Direct blowback like the LCP or delayed locking, like the P365 and Glock G42? Nice review. Sig p365 in .380 is a nice pistol, but for I prefer the G42.
Can you do Grizzly .45 Auto? There’s a few boxes of it here for $32 a box. I was told to shoot it I would have to change the spring out in my FNX 45 Tactical.
I've made this comment a few times, The early Ruger LCP Max mags rattled like that, the pistol sucked completely and mine broke. The replacement from Ruger is a different pistol, I remember there were noticeable design changes. It was better but if you get one, go ahead and factor in the price for a Galloway Precision 13lb recoil spring *IMO this is mandatory they sprung the pistol too light to help people with weak hands rack it* and the Sigurd trigger makes a massive difference.
Holy cow only 9.8 Oz you say? That's just barely more than half the weight of my Hellcat and I thought my Hellcat was super light haha. I have seen quite a lot of positive reviews of this new bodyguard 2.0. Looks like a winner 🙂
There is no way this can be safe. You might get away with shooting a few rounds. You have to be careful and be 100% sure there is 0 bullet setback. I would not carry this. The worst thing I can think of is my tool blowing up in my time of need. If you want massive velocity. Get 357 sig.
I’d love to see a vs video or 9mm Norma against 9mm Lehigh max expansion! Just to see how similar the results are, both can be found in 115gr and both are pure copper.
Exactly. I enjoy his reviews but ignoring that the LCP MAX has been the most innovative gun for the last 3 years which took S&W to catch up just like the Ruger 5.7. Hes not very balanced. With the 12 mag the LCP max became very accurate gun and comfortable especially after break in. Thousands of shots later no issues. Its smaller (which matters), cheaper and reliable. Im hearing the B 2.0 is already having mag issues...
Thanks for the informative videos. I bought the Ruger LCPII .22LR awhile ago and it’s horrendously unreliable. It malfunctions every 3-5 rounds. I sent it back to Ruger, they “fixed” it, and it’s still just as bad. Very disappointing.
Brian, I don't know how I missed this video before, but I was searching for exactly this kind of information. So when I saw it was your @Tools&Targets channel, you better believe I clicked on this video. And no surprise, but it did not disappoint. It's like a one-stop shopping vid of data, a veritable wealth of information, and on several of the rounds I was specifically interested in. Thank you for all the time you put in on the range (yeah, I know it's fun, too, but it's also work), and subsequently time in editing, to give us so much useful information.
