The waters are calm and clear again for snorkeling after Hurricane Douglas moved past us on Sunday. Time for some snorkeling at Black Rock in Kaanapali, Maui!
Henry and Hattie are at the babysitter's so Erica and I jumped out the door and in the water for some snorkeling at our favorite (best) #snorkeling spot in #Maui - Black Rock Beach outside of The Sheraton Maui Resort.
We share our tips on parking, where to find Hawaiian green sea turtles, and how to jump off of Black Rock if you dare. Leave your bag on Black Rock Beach and slip into the water for some amazing Maui snorkeling! Plus, the sunset Hurricane Douglas left behind was the best so far this year. Stay till the end to see it.
Kaanapali Beach and Black Rock are still empty as Hawaii stays closed to trans-Pacific travel. Enjoy views of these empty beaches while you can.
Hawaii will open though, so be prepared!
