Love this tune. As some have commented below, very underrated song. This album produced some well known great songs, but there are some relatively under-the-radar tunes that are every bit as good: Country Girl, Falling off The Edge of the World, and Slippin' Away.

Dio was such a great writer. Seemingly simple but profoundly deep. And Tony Iomis can pour incredible feeling into his leads. Love this song.

His wife Wendy Dio, he loved her so very much! But there was turmoil in the relationship, Ronnie was very distraught, that's where the lyrics come, I believe.

This was the song that convinced me to buy The Mob Rules. I heard it on a college radio station back in the summer of 2004, and I’d heard Dio-era Sabbath songs before (particularly the amazing “Children of the Sea”) but there was just something truly special about this one. I immediately converged on the used CD stores in the area, which wound up taking me to the north side of Chicago, where I finally found a copy at this hole-in-the-wall place on Belmont and Clark.

I highly recommend you check out the band Porcupine Tree. Their performance of the song Sleep Together live at Tilburg is unreal. The last few minutes just put you in a trance and the drummer is insane. They are often referred to as “the greatest band you’ve never heard of.”

A couple of other songs from this album with a pack-a-punch riff are "Voodoo" and "Falling off the Edge of the World" Once again I am requesting that you react to Sershen and Zaritskaya's cover of "Stayin' Alive" The cover is a rippin' and roarin' version of the original. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bvCp-zxnCs4.html Perhaps the country girl referred to is more like one from that movie "Wrong Turn" You know inbred and cannibalistic...
