I can imagine each episodes dealing with different lineup along with Tony having bored face or saying at one point "bloody hell" after another change like 1984-1985 lineups or Seventh Star/Eternal idol era due to this or other stuff.
Fun fact everybody seems to be sleeping on: this sketch was written by Tommy Blancha who would later go on to co-create Metalocalypse which, yeah that tracks.
In the 70s, maybe. But every time I've heard him speak, it's pretty clear lol. Also... And I'm just nitpicky here...it's like 3 different British dialects I hear. Barely, if any, Birmingham accents.
Bill Ward the drummer was the one who actually wore the sky blue shirt with yellow stars for several years straight. Puttin’ some stank on the travelin’ band, Bill Ward ⭐️
Good grief! I remember watching this at the time and thought it was their real voices. I had never heard them in interviews so didn't know any better. Now I see it's not even close.
I remember back in the day we would get up early, get stoned and watch this....or was we watching bugs bunny while listening to Black Sabbath🤔 I was young at the time I forgot🤪.
For those who don't know, this is from a full show spinoff of SNL's "TV Funhouse" segment. I saw and taped it in summer 2001. I didn't think I would see this again! Thumbs up if you know what "taped it" means.
I've been looking for this since RU-vid was conceived, man. I literally haven't been able to find TV Funhouse ANYWHERE!! EDIT: Turns out someone uploaded the full episodes recently and whoever you are, you're an angel.
Black Sabbath cartoon. Black Sabbath became a wacky, Scooby Doo or Beatles-style cartoon in the early 2000s, when animator and Triumph the Insult Comic Dog creator Robert Smigel broke out his running SNL bit TV Funhouse into a half-hour show. The cartoon was designed to look like a 1974 cartoon fearuring Ozzy, Tony, Geezer, and Bill with their dog Doom Doom.
Iommi the intelligent, Ward the alcohol grunting animal, Geezer being a Geezer, Ozzy's way to easy to understand.. it was for the children LMAO Loyal fan since 1977!
