I agree because todays youth are listening to synth pop with auto tune and it’s not really music anymore,I hope future generations keep the spirit alive.
Yep Martin Birch was such a fantastic sound engineer and producer, he did lots of classic albums with Deep purple, Rainbow, Iron maiden, Black sabbath and more. Rock In Peace Martin Birch.
Ozzie Osbourne and then Ronnie James Dio both uniquely led Black Sabbath into differently deep grottos in Hell, and with lyrics and messages that are at least tantamount to Heavenly humanity.
I saw the Born Again Tour with Ian Gillian which may have been the best concert I ever saw. Ian Gillian with that shrieking screaming beautiful voice and Tony just shredding. You talk about beautiful noise.😊
Thanks for reacting to this song, one of my favorite Sabbath songs. I saw Black Sabbath on this tour in 1982 and saw their last tour with Dio in 2007. Dio was 64 in 2007 and knew he was dying from stomach cancer, but he sounded as good as ever. He died 3 years later at the age of 67.
A total great singer with great members who know how to right lyrics that touch the soul.i always wondered if Ozzy stayed sober how much great he could have been.not leaving sabbath dio could blend with a lot of great bands rainbow was his masterpiece of materials.then sabbath and then solo .I miss you dio
Hey Sweetheart😊 I saw this tour in 1980 I think. 2nd row off center at the Hollywood Sportatorium in Hollywood Florida. I was 14. The guy who originally bought the tickets overdosed. My mother picked me up and looked scared as hell. Anyways, the concert was dam loud. MY FRIEND was drinking and smoking and huffing helium and fell down in seat and vomitted all over himself. Quite jarring. I always loved the album cover for this. Sabbath did two studio albums with Dio. Anyways, good to see you again.🇺🇲🛡
