Falling off the Edge of the World and Over and Over, were intended to be played as a unit, just as they are arranged on the original album. In order to fully appreciate this masterpiece set of heavy rock perfection, you must listen them, in the order in which they were originally arranged. Better yet, start with side one of MOB RULES, and listen to the album in its entirety. F.O.T.E.O.T.W. and O&O, are essentially the crescendo of this masterpiece of METAL. I personally believe this collection is unsurpassed among musical recordings, of any genre, and it will remain in this position of superiority beyond the end of time.
DIO is irreplaceable, Ronnie was a deep thinker, loved the fans, loved the music, the power, the feeling, and this song epitomizes all of that, and I was honored to see him live 3 times, god bless RJD
Ronnie James Dio has always liked to add imagery to his lyrics and paints a picture. Especially when he sang before BS with the group Rainbow. Songs like "Stargazer", "Temple of the King" and "Gates of Babylon" put these images to the music. Ronnie has some great pipes with 50 years of great music.
"You know I feel a change in the Earth, in the wind and the rain". Very prophetic these days after all one of Dio's first bands was called Ronnie Dio and the Prophets.
@@HighlanderReactionsZA If you enjoy real heavy minor key melancholy Sabbath songs. Tonys lead playing is flawless anf frenetic. Jusr look it up on u tube. The lyrics and Ronnies singing are so painful it almost hurts. 😫
Ozzy couldn't sing one single note of a Dio tune. And on the flip side there are Ozzy Sabbath songs that Dio sings way better!!! I.e. Children of the Grave and NIB just to name 2.
